Welcome to the 25^th Anniversary of the Royal Rumble.  We are live from St. Louis, Missouri and we kick things off with

World Heavyweight Championship: Daniel Bryan vs Mark Henry vs Big Show

Out first is Daniel Bryan.  Mark Henry comes out next followed by Big Show.  They show video highlight from Smackdown of Show bowling over AJ.  Lilian Garcia makes the formal introductions. Bryan goes for the early escape but is cut off by Henry.  Show mows Henry down and splashes him against the cage. Bryan again with quick escape cut off by Show.  Show goes for WMD but Bryan moves out of the way and Show hits the cage.  Bryan on the attack with kicks to Mark Henry.  Bryan tries to escape through the door but Henry brings him back in.  Headbutt by Henry, Henry runs into a boot from Big Show.  Show tosses Bryan into the cage.  Henry stepping on Bryan.  Picks Bryan up and tosses him into the cage.  Bryan with the 2 count on Henry.  Show gets up clotheslines Bryan.  Chokeslam by Show countered by Bryan.  Bryan on the top rope hits a tornado DDT 2 count only.  Bryan gets the LeBell Lock on but Henry breaks the hold.  Henry picks  Bryan up, Show with the knockout punch 2 count on Henry Bryan up the cage almost out but Show pulls him back in but Bryan hangs on.  Bryan breaks the hold on his wrist and falls to the floor

The Bellas & The Divas Of Doom vs Kelly Kelly, Eve, Alicia Fox & Tamina

Natalya starts off with Tamina.  Side headlock by Natalya.  Tamina for a samoan drop countered by Natalya.  Tamina tags Eve, Eve goes for a moonsault on Natalya.  Natalya moves out of the way drives her into the corner.  Tag to Beth and Beth drives elbows into Eve 2 count only.  Nikki is tagged in chinlock on Eve.  Clothesline ducked by Eve and Alicia is in now and Alicia stomping on Nikki in the corner.  Bella moves out of one kick and stomping on Fox, choke on the ropes and an armbreaker.  Chinlock by Nikki, Fox tags Kelly, Kelly with the flying headscissors.  The divas are brawling on the outside meanwhile back in the ring Kelly on the top rope flying crossbody onto all the divas.  Beth tags herself in and hits the Glam Slam on Kelly

They show highlights from the Falls Count Anywhere Match on Raw between Kane And Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder arrives in a wheelchair and Eve comes in and tells John Laurinaitis that she hopes he’s fired tomorrow night on RAW

John Cena vs Kane

John Cena comes out.  Kane is out next and does his ringpost fire and Kane dominating early on in this match.  Cena fighting back and he clotheslines Kane over the top rope.  Kane back in control whipping Cena into the ringsteps but Cena reverses it and sends Kane careening over the steps.  Back in the ring Cena looking for the AA but Kane overpowers him.  Kane throwing punch after punch, stepping on Cena’s head.  Reverse chinlock on Cena and Cena fights back with a knee.  A slugfest and Cena off the ropes but Kane lands a throat thrust.  Suplex by Kane and a 2 count.  Cena powers out of another reverse chinlock and trades punches with Kane.  Drop toehold by Cena going for the bulldog and Kane launches him across the ring.  Clothesline by Kane.  Kane going for the claw Cena blocking it  and turns it into a crossface but Kane powers out.  Clothesline off the top rope by Kane.  Chokeslam by Kane ducked by Cena and Cena with the five moves of doom.   Five knuckle shuffle and Kane makes him pay but 2 count only.  Kane has Cena on the top rope, Cena knocks him down.  Five knuckle shuffle from the top rope by Cena.   Both Kane and Cena are outside and the referee counts to 10

This match ends in a double countout

Post Match: The fight continues to the back. Kane breaks down Zack Ryder’s dressing room door and wheels him out to the ring and delivers a chokeslam as a horrified Eve looks on.  Cena comes out and gets chokeslammed by Kane as well.  We get a Cena Sucks chant from the crowd as the medics tend to Ryder.

WWE Championship: CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler (w/John Laurinaitis as special guest referee)

Laurinaitis said in the interest of fairness he will officiate the match from outside the ring.  Dolph |iggler vame out followed by CM Punk. Justin Roberts does the formal introductions.  Laurinaitis ejects Vickie Guerrero from ringside.  Quick pin by Ziggler.  Punk looking for an early GTS countered by Ziggler.  Punk going for the Anaconda Vice but can’t lock it in.  Test of strength, Punk locks in the abdominal stretch, mocking Ziggler and he bounces Ziggler off the top rope.  Ziggler to the outside.  Punk up to the top and Ziggler cuts him down.  2 count only by Ziggler, neckbreaker on Punk.  Series of elbowdrops on Punk and a 1 count.  Ziggler with a wear down hold on Punk and Punk counters with a back suplex.  Punk and Ziggler trading kicks and punches.  Ziggler with the sleeperhold but Punk locks the Anaconda Vice and Ziggler counters.   Ziggler back to the sleeper.  Punk flips him over, Ziggler with a dropkick and 2 count only.  Punk catches Ziggler with a sit out power bomb but only a 2 count.  High knee by Punk, neckbreaker by Punk.  Shining Wizard by  Punk and he follows up with the running bulldog,  GTS, Ziggler counters, slingshot Punk up to the top, cross body, Ziggler reverses 2 count only.  Punk with a punt to Ziggler’s head but only a 2 count.  Punk delivers the flying elbow and 2 count which elicits a “Randy Savage” chant from the crowd.  Referee takes a bump to the outside.  Anaconda Vice and Ziggler’s tapping but Laurinaitis is checking on the other official.  Roll up by Ziggler, reversal by Punk. Punk gets in  Laurinaitis’ face,  Ziggler from behind eats a GTS.  GTS countered into a ZigZag 2 count on Ziggler.  Zigzag countered into a slingshot into a GTS and Punk scores the pin.

“Rumble By The Numbers” Video

Royal Rumble

Miz is #1 entrant and says he’s going to win the Rumble and go on to main event Wrestlemania 28.  #2 out is Alex Riley.  Riley looks to the Wrestlemania sign and Miz and Riley exchange punches.  Miz eliminates Riley and awaits #3 and it’s R-Truth.  Truth looking for the early elimination.  Miz goes over the top rope but lands on the apron.  Miz is back in going for the Skull Crushing Finale.  Truth hits Miz and throws him over the top but Miz is still in and out comes #4 the Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and he goes right after Truth.  Double team on Truth.  Truth backdrops Rhodes over the ropes,  Rhodes on the apron still in the match.  #5 The Capetown Werewolf Justin Gabriel sprinting down to the ring and right after Rhodes.  STO on Truth and spinning heel kick to The Miz.  Rhodes trying to eliminate Gabriel.  #6 comes out and it’s Primo one half of the tag team champions.   Miz eliminates R-Truth and Truth pulls Miz out under the bottom ropes and hits the Little Jimmy on the outside.  Primo and Gabriel pairing off and out comes #7 and it’s The Hardcore Legend Mick Foley.  Foley going after Primo.  Primo off the ropes and Foley sends him over the ropes, eliminating Primo.  Mick Foley with the running knee to Rhodes.  #8 Alberto Del Rio’s music hits and out comes Ricardo Rodriguez.  Rodriguez goes after Rhodes.  Rodriguez and Foley throw Gabriel out.  Out next at #9 is  Santino and him and Ricardo  pair off as Foley looks on.  Rodriguez us eliminated by Marella.  Socko and Cobra face off.  Out next at #10 is Epico and Foley stuffs Socko in Epico’s mouth eliminating him.  Rhodes eliminates Santino.   Foley is eliminated and  #11 Kofi comes out and does a highflying spot off the ropes on both Miz and Rhodes.  #12 entrant is Jerry Lawler and Rhodes and Miz double team Lawler but Lawler takes both of them down.  Lawler with the fistdrop off the second turnbuckle but Rhodes eliminates Lawler.  Unlucky #13 Ezekiel Jackson is out and he hits Kofi with the big clothesline dominating all three opponents.  Side slam by Jackson onto Kingston.  #14 Jinder Mahal slowly makes his way down.  Mahal goes after Jackson.  #15 It’s the return of The Great Khali and Khali goes after his “brother in law” Jinder Mahal and Khali eliminates Mahal and Khali clotheslines Jackson over the ropes.  #16 brings out Hunico and Hunico going after Khali and Rhodes.  #17 entrant is Booker T and he goes right after Cody Rhodes and then faces off with Khali.  Kingston almost eliminated but he did a handstand and walked all the way to the ringsteps.  #18 brings out Dolph Ziggler.  #19 the winner of the very first Royal Rumble, Hacksaw Jim Duggan comes out  and he goes after Cody Rhodes and Hunico.  He does his trademark HOOOO!!!! and USA chant.   Rhodes off the ropes and he eliminates Duggan.  Cody eliminates Booker and Khali and #20 brings Michael Cole out of the commentator’s chair.  Cole jumping around and #21 brings out the returning Kharma and she goes right after Michael Cole and Booker chops Cole’s off the ring apron and he’s eliminated.  Hunico charges and Kharma eliminates him.  Ziggler from behind eliminates Kharma.  #22 The Celtic Warrior comes out and clotheslines everyone.  Sheamus eliminates Kofi Kingston.  Cody and Miz both recipients of Sheamus’ “Fiery Red Hand”  #23 brings out the Road Dogg Jesse James and he takes down Cody and Miz.  The crowd starts a “You Still Got It” chant.  #24 brings out one half of the Uso Brothers, Jey Uso. #25 Jack Swagger comes out and it’s Swagger & Sheamus. #26 Wade Barett and he goes after Sheamus and Road Dogg is gone. Lucky #27 goes to David Otunga.  #28 is St. Louis’ own Randy Orton and he goes after Barrett.   Double DDT on Rhodes and Ziggler. Orton eliminates Jey Uso and RKO to Barrett and Barrett is eliminated. The lights go out and #29 comes out to the ring Chris Jericho and he attacks everyone.  Otunga is out,  The final entrant goes to Big Show.  Sheamus eliminates Swagger.  Show grabs Miz and Rhodes by the neck and dumps them over the top rope.  He dumps Ziggler and now  down to the final four Randy Orton, Big Show, Chris Jericho and Sheamus.  Chokeslam to Jericho.  Orton hits an RKO to Big Show.  Orton eliminates Big Show,  Orton eliminated by Jericho.  It’s down to Jericho and Sheamus.   Jericho goes for the bulldog Sheamus hangs him over the top rope trying to eliminate him.  Sheamus hits The Irish Curse.  Celtic Cross but Jericho hangs on.  Brogue Kick countered by Jericho.  Walls Of Jericho on Sheamus.  Jericho avoids elimination both Sheamus and Jericho on the top rope.  They both fall and Jericho hits The Code Breaker.  Code Breaker but Sheamus counters goes for the Brogue Kick, Jericho avoids elimination a second time but the second time Sheamus connects and kicks Jericho off the apron.
