TNA star Matt Morgan was crowned as the very first Heavyweight Champion of TNA's Indian promotion Ring Ka King. Morgan defeated "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner, who is said to be the top heel (bad guy) of the promotion.
Speaking of Scott Steiner, it's being reported that Steiner nearly caused a riot amongst the Indian fans using his heel tactics during a 6-man tag team match.
It's also being reported that former WWE Superstars Harry Smith (David Hart Smith) and Chavo Guerrero Jr. were crowned as the first Tag Team Champions of Ring Ka King.
The following are comments made from TNA ring announcer Jeremy Borash:
"Great 2nd day of TV in India just wrapped. Tonight's crowd was insane, most seeing wrestling for the first time. Enthusiasm off the charts."
"The most heel heat I've seen in 15 years tonight in India. This will be amazing TV. Congrats to the team. Forgot how fun this can be."
