Destination X is finally here. Tonight, TNA Wrestling brings you the return of Ultimate X, Abyss puts the X-Division Title on the line against Brian Kendrick, we have Kazarian vs. Samoa Joe, Van Dam takes on Jerry Lynn and as well as the one-night-only return of the Six Sided Ring, we're perhaps going to find out who's the best X-Division wrestler ever when AJ Styles faces his best friend Christopher Daniels.
Jeremy Borash and Mike Tenay are to take us through Destination X as Taz is on assignment.
Kazarian vs. Samoa Joe
The bell barely dings twice before these two awesome athletes go at it. Neither Kaz nor Joe are strangers to X-Division Gold, but tonight the battle is personal. Joe's on top, befallling Kazarian to ringside early. The fans are truly into it as Kaz gets some momentum after getting Joe back in the ring, but Joe's intense ring-manner overpowers Kaz and he sends him into the corner before levelling him with a jumping side volley. Joe soon follows up with a running knee while Kaz's on the canvas, and then a senton splash from off the ropes and that gets Joe Two on the cover. Samoa Joe goes on to continue the domination and he gets another Two on a fall after a heavy knee-drop into the chest of Kazarian. Joe puts Kaz atop the top turnbuckle, perhaps looking for the Muscle Buster, but Kaz fends him off and follows up to land a huge missile dropkick. The contest continues, both men trading punches with the fans going to and fro with 'boo' and 'yay' with the former being against Kazarian. They chant 'Let's Go Joe' as Kazarian gets back into the contest and evens it out, landing a jumping kick on Joe while he's in the corner and then Kaz sets up for the Flux Capaitor, but Joe's girth is much to handle and Joe fends Kaz to ringside, quickly gets back into the ring and runs against the ropes to suicide dive forearm first right on the mush of Kaz at ringside. What a move and now Joe has full control once again. Joe looks for a move, but Kaz counters and almost hits Fade To Black, but no, Joe counters and he grabs Kaz into a powerbomb. One, Two, just Two on teh count and Joe then turns Kaz into an STF. Kazarian is defiant though and he literally bites Joe's fingers to force him to release the hold. Kaz fights Joe off toward the corner, he runs up for a clothesline, but Joe counters and he slams down Kaz from out the corner. Typical Joe style and he follows up with a Coquina Clutch. Kaz is in trouble, more now than ever, but he gets the ropes. Joe holds on for almost the full Five-count of the ref, who tells him off afterward. This gives Kaz momentary recovery time and Joe loses focus. Kaz counters a final attack from Joe to roll him up and Joe's legs are kicking, but he can't kick out and Kazarian picks up the victory.
Winner: Frankie Kazarian.
After the match Kaz has his hand raised up the ramp, but Samoa Joe is livid. The Samoan Submission Machine is on somewhat of a losing streak now in TNA Wrestling.
We're shown videos of occurences earlier today. We see Christopher Daniels arriving to the Impact Zone. We also watch Eric Young interrupt a autograph signing session with Suicide and Curry Man et al. EY asks one of them to be his tag partner tonight, Curry Man tells of excuses for them all, but then Shark Boy comes onto the scene to offer his services as Young's partner tonight.

"Hi, I'm Dolph Ziggler. This may be a TNA pay-per-view but I'm here to invite you to read a broadcast where all the greatest names in Pro Wrestling come together. This past Friday night on KWF Blogs, I faced Samoa Joe. Oh and the main event was Sting vs. Rob Van Dam. Don't take my word for it, just click HERE and read July 8th's Impact SmackDown." - Dolph.
Next up we have the entrance of the British Invasion; Douglas Williams, Rob Terry and Magnus. TNA newcomer Mark Haskins answers Williams' open challenge here tonight. JB reveals on commentary that Haskins had shone in TNA's European Tour. He's a young Brit and tonight he's to face fellow country-man Douglas Williams. Williams sends his guys to teh back and says he's 'got this' as we see the TV/PPV debut of Mark Haskins.
Douglas Williams vs. Mark Haskins
Williams begins the match with confidence, but Mark Haskins counters everything that Williams has to offer and soon, after an exchange of near falls, Williams has to exit and re-think his strategy against this new edition to TNA Wrestling. Haskins shows off his resilience in the ring and he monkey-flips Williams over before sending him back to ringside. Williams again tries to regroup, but this time Haskins follows out. Big mistake as this allows Williams sweep Haskins' leg on the apron to have him land hard on the edge of the ring. Williams controls the match now, grounding and pounding at Mark Haskins before getting him back in the ring, Hammerlocking his opponent before elevating him over his own back and then guiding him into the corner. Impressive wrestling from Douglas Williams, but Mark Haskins counters out the corner and both men go down in the middle of the ring. The two battle back and forth and Haskins catches Williams with a slingsot, but no cover. Then Williams tries for the Rolling Chaos Theory, but no dice there either and Haskins soon comes back with a counter Williams, a huge dropkick to the gut as Williams comes off the top rope. Haskins attempts a top rope finisher, but he misses and Williams School Boy's for a finish.
Winner: Douglas Williams.
After the match Williams shakes Haskins hand as a mark of respect. Good show from both athletes.
Backstage So-Cal Val talks to Austin Aries and he says that tonight he's going to defeat three 'very good wrestler's'. Aries says that they aren't great, they aren't amazing like like, they're 'good' and that's exactly why because Aries will win, because he's better.
Generation ME vs. Eric Young & Shark Boy
The fans chant for 'Super Eric' as the contest almost gets played under Tornado rules, but the ref gets control after calming Young down and GenME can't get any momentum due to Young and Shark Boy's dominance and we watch as Shark Boy bites the rear end of Max Buck. GenME use underhanded tactics to single out Shark Boy at ringside and this leads to them cutting the ring in half and making it so Shark Boy cannot make a tag. Jeremy Buck tags in and puts Shark Boy in a sleeper, but the arm stays up on the ref's third drop and this leads to EY almost tagging in, but GenME expertly stay on top and double-team Shark Boy down. After some time though Young gets the crowd going and this leads to a couple of Shark Boy counters and finally Young tags in. Young, now removed from his pants and wrestling in his trunks, EY takes it to both members of GenME, but then after some outstanding slingshot to moonsault work from Jeremy Buck, Max befalls EY for what should be a finish, but no, Young kicks out at Two. GenME attempt a double-team, but Shark Boy decks Jeremy off the top turnbuckle and EY grabs Max Buck to finish him off for the One, Two, Three.
Winners: Eric Young and Shark Boy.
Backstage we see Christopher Daniels talking to TNA staff about his schedule. AJ Styles comes in and pats his buddy as he passes, joking with him that he hopes Daniels doesn't mess him up too much tonight.
Elsewhere Xzema Ion tells So-Cal Val that he knows he's the underdog in the match for the TNA contract tonight, but it's his dream to be in TNA so tonight he plans to fulfill his potential and become a part of TNA Wrestling.
We're shown a video package of Amazing Red, Alex Shelley, Robbie E. and Shannon Moore all cliaming that they'll win tonight's Ultimate X match.
Shannon Moore vs. Robbie E. w/ Cookie vs. Amazing Red vs. Alex Shelley
Ultimate X match for number one contendership to the X-Division Title
Alex Shelley is a favorite in this match because of his experience in the contests' history and the fact that along with his tag partner Chris Sabin of the Guns, Shelley's won this match three times in TNA. The X high-wire is a high structure over the ring and we watch as Robbie E's clear strategy is to climb and climb early to try get to the hanging X in the middle of the ring. Shannon Moore is also off high and he can't get close to the X because Shelley is dominating Moore and Robbie, putting them in a Tree Of Woe in the corner before levelling his opponents' with a sandwiched dropkick. Amazing Red tries to thwart Shelley from going up and across the wire, but he only slows him down and it's Robbie E. who takes Shelley down. At ringside Moore and Robbie go back and forth and Shelley comes in on the action, but it's Moore on top, moonsaulting off the apron to land on Shelley on the outside. The contest goes back in the ring where Shannon hits poetry in motion off the back of Amazing Red, but then Red follows, using Shannon's back as a springboard to hit a running shooting star on Alex Shelley. An awesome match goes on with Robbie E. confident of going up for the X, but Red stops him and lands hard side kicks before Robbie sends him toward the ropes and Red uses this momentum to corkscrew himself over the top rope and land crashing on Shannon Moore and Alex Shelley at ringside. Robbie climbs and goes a little across the cable over the ring, but Amazing Red nails a missile dropkick and this puts the match back on even terms. No one is near the X that hangs over the middle of the ring. Cookie gets involved, hooking Alex Shelley's leg as he tries to climb. Amazing Red climbs and catterpillars his way along the cable, but while doing that Shannon Moore has climbed the outside steel structure of the Ultimate X and he drops on top of the X-wire to befall Amazing Red and we watch as Alex Shelley make it across despite Cookie's efforts and he decks Shannon Moore to unhook the X to become new number one contender to the X-Division Title.
Winner: Alex Shelley.
A match Shelley dedicated to his long-term and long-term injured tag partner Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley comes out on top and what a match it was. A huge victory and in the end, Shelley's experience pays off. Chris Sabin comes out to congratulate him afterward and the crowd applaud as the MotorCity Machine Guns hold up the big red X.
Backstage So-Cal Val talks to Low-ki. Low-ki says that he's done his bit in proving to everyone that he belongs, but now he's in a place where Pro Wrestling matters and tonight he plans to win his match against Evans, Aries and Ion and land himself a TNA Wrestling contract.
We're shown a video package building toward Jerry Lynn versus Rob Van Dam. RVD, Mr Pay-Per-View has said that he was X-Division before there was an X-Division, but Jerry Lynn wants to put his long-term rival in his place, stating that he's the true pioneer of the X-Division.
Jerry Lynn vs. Rob Van Dam
The fans are split on their allegiences as Van Dam and Lynn shake hands to show their mutual respect for one another. The Impact Zone is rocking and we watch as Van Dam thumb-taunts and Lynn begins the match taking a side headlock from Van Dam, but then countering to eventually get a quick roll-up and try and put Van Dam away. The athleticism that RVD shows is apparent and he always gives his all, putting his body on the line, but after a legsweep and a One-count of his own on Lynn, Van Dam puts his opponent in a keylock in the middle of the ring. The comms review that this is a match that was supposed to happen at TNA Hardcore Justice in 2010, but now we finally get to see it and we watch as RVD attempts a superplex on Lynn out the corner, but after a back and forth exchange, both superstars end up back in the ring and Van Dam misses a couple of kicks and Lynn counters. Van Dam tries a leg drop, but misses. Another kick, but he gets only air and Lynn comes back with some more, but Van Dam counters in turn and both men have a stand-off after a great exchange. Lynn looks frustrated, but Van Dam just holds his arms out and nods as if to say he's the Whole F'n Show. Lynn exits the ring and Van Dam feigns to suicide to ringside, but Lynn moves only to find that Van Dam didn't execute. Lynn is allowed back in the ring by RVD and Van Dam goes for another handshake, but Lynn bats it away to soon thwart Van Dam to ringside and after some dominance, Lynn flip-dives off the apron right into RVD who crashes into the raillings. Lynn is booed as he vents his frustration on Van Dam back in the ring and we watch as Lynn picks up a couple of Two-counts. He tries a big move out of the corner, but Van Dam counters, but Lynn counters that to take Van Dam over with a German Suplex and get Two on the count. Lynn grounds Van Dam in the middle of the ring, trying to neutrilize his opponent. As RVD gets to his feet, Lynn uses Van Dam's hair to yank him back to the canvas. Lynn chokes RVD over the bottom rope and we can see that RVD is bleeding from the mouth. Lynn thwarts Van Dam to the canvas but only gets Two on the cover and this leads to Lynn complaining to the ref about the count. After another exchange with Van Dam, Lynn thinks he's in control, but RVD hip-tosses Lynn over to follow up with Rolling Thunder and soon Lynn is back out on the floor at ringside. RVD baseball slides Lynn into the raillings before front suplexing him onto the metal and then coming off the ring apron to spinning legdrop Lynn right over his back. RVD dominates Lynn back into the ring and he perhaps sets for a Five Star, but Lynn has a quick rush of adrenaline and he throws RVD right off the top turnbuckle so that Van Dam crashes over the railing at ringside. Lynn brings a steel chair into play as RVD regroups back in the ring. Van Dam gets up to spinkick, Lynn ducks and drops the chair and in doing so he catches Van Dam to legdrop the back of his head right into the steel and that busts RVD wide open. Another steel chair soon comes into play and this match may well steal the night as Lynn powerbombs Van Dam out the corner to have him land head-first on a steel chair. Lynn covers, but to no avail and then after another exchange with teh two steel chairs, RVD thwarts Lynn to th canvas with a spinkick through a chair to the face of his opponent and RVD then win the match with a Five Star Frog Splash.
Winner: Rob Van Dam.
Before the match both men said that they bring out the best in each other and tonight at Destination X they didn't disapoint. What a match.

Backstage Jack Evans talks to So-Cal Val. He says he's nervous, but tonight it's his shot to make it big and he intends to take it.
Austin Aries vs. Xzema Ion vs. Low-ki vs. Jack Evans
Winner gets TNA Wrestling contract
Jack Evans shows off the atheleticism he has, but Xzema Ion counters impressively. Austin Aries bides his time at ringside while Ion and Low-ki go at it in the ring. Low-ki lands a huge kick and gets Two, but after going for Evans, Austin Aries comes in and targets Low-ki. Aries uses his claws to scrape at all three of his opponents, but then Evans, Low-ki and Ion all three-way dropkick Austin Aries in the middle of the ring. Low-ki, Evans and Ion trade moves, but Aries catches Evans at ringside. Ion shows what his made of, taking out both Aries and Evans at ringside. Back in the ring Ion gets a submission on Low-ki, but Austin Aries breaks it and he soon gets a huge dropkick right on the mush of Ion. Jack Evans comes flying out the air targetting Aries, but Austin Aries ducks and Low-ki catches Evans with a jumping side volley. Low-ki and Aries have a trash talking face-off that leads to a double submission; Aries on Ion and Low-ki on Evans - and Aries and Low-ki continue to trash talk each other as the comms refer to their past hsitory. Aries attempts his brainbuster, but no dice and Low-ki counters for a pinning predicament but Jack Evans comes in out of nowhere to break the fall. Xzema Ion comes in to land the Hostile Makeover on Jack Evans. Aries decks Ion to pedulum elbow before a cover, but Low-ki double-stomps right in Aries back and this lightning quick contest goes on. Jack Evans hurracanranna's Low-ki to ringside and he wants to fly, but Xzema Ion befalls him to ringside. Austin Aries takes Ion down with a hard clothesline and Aries then attempts a suicide dive to ringside, but Low-ki side-volleys right in the skull. Back in the ring Jack Evans showboats after corkscrew kicking Low-ki and Aries then follows up by clotheslining Evans out of his boots. The fans chant 'Sign Them All!' as all four competitors exchange pinning predicaments and we head into the forth quarter now. Aries goes top rope, but Low-ki cartwheels over Xzema Ion to leap and kick Aries off the top turnbuckle. Low-ki covers Aries but only for Two and he then goes top rope for perhaps Warriors Way, but Jack Evans gets there too and he Hurracanranna's Low-ki off the top rope. Evans calls for 630, but no, Ion stops him, landing 450 on Low-ki, but Aries breaks the count. Evans goes for 630 on Low-ki, but Low-ki gets the knees up. Aries takes control and he finishes Low-ki with the Brainbuster and that's it, Aries covers Low-ki for the contract.
Winner and newly signed to TNA: Austin Aries.
So-Cal Val hands Aries the contract and he says that he's the greatest man that ever lived.
Backstage Abyss talks to Brian Kendrick through the camera and he quotes Sun-Tsu eventually stating that when the end is near and it's time for Kendrick to die, Abyss promises to make it quick, but not too quick.
We're shown a video package building Abyss' upcoming X-Division Title defense against Brian Kendrick. Abyss has declared that the Belt he carries is the X-treme Title and his Immortal leaders Hogan and Bischoff concur that the X-Division has no place on Impact Wrestling anymore. Will Kendrick bring the X-Division Belt back to the cruiserweights of his kind or will The Monster Abyss reign supreme?
Brian Kendrick vs. Abyss (c)
X-Division Title match
Brian Kendrick goes all out to take it to Abyss, but The Monster barely moves as Kendrick gives him all he's got in kicks and punches. Kendrick gets the upper hand for a split second after biting Abyss' fingers, but Abyss dominates Kendrick to ringside before open palm slapping Kenrick right across the chest before getting his opponent back in the ring and doing the same again. The comms remind us that traditioanlly the X-Division isn't about weight limits, it's about No Limits and that's why superstars such as Abyss and in the past, Samoa Joe have carried the X-Title. Abyss reads from his guidance book from Sun-Tsu and this leads to a ferocious series of stomps to Kendrick in the corner. A dazed Kendrick levels Abyss with a sharp back elbow and this cuts Abyss open. Abyss wipes the blood from his brow and Kendrick yells "Come on Monster!" before throwing all he has into decking Abyss to ringside. He suicide dives, successfully taking Abyss down and back in the ring Kendrick clobbers Abyss down with a huge Missile Dropkick before getting Two on the count. Kendrick tries for a Sliced Bread, but Abyss counters to turn it into the Shock Treatment and that should be it. One, Two - no! Kendrick kicks out! Abyss scares the referee and this leads to Kendrick getting some energy to clobber Abyss. Kendrick evades a counter from the Monster and this leads to Abyss squashing the ref in the corner. Kendrick then does adminster a successful Sliced Bread, but there's no referee to count the fall. Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring to tell Kendrick off, and Kendrick just slaps him to the canvas! Immortal flood out the back and this leads to a batterring on Kendrick, but the X-Division locker room comes out, first just a few, but then a ton more including GenME, Austin Aries, Amazing Red and Frankie Kazarian. They thwart Immortal to ringside and meanwhile Kendrick is able to clobber Abyss into a hooking both legs on a roll-up and the ref counts One! Two! Three!
Winner and New X-Division Champion: Brian Kendrick.
Shocking, absolutely shocking result to this match. Immortal members tell off Abyss up the ramp for losing, but Abyss just shoves Bully Ray to his backside! Meanwhile the X-Division's finest celebrate in the ring, congratulating Brian Kendrick and confetti falls as the fans applaud. The X-Division is alive and well again, Immortal have been humiliated.
We're shown a video package highlighting the ups and downs of the careers of both tonight's mian eventers. Up next, Live at Destination X - Styles vs. Daniels!
The comms build that this very well could have been a three-way between Styles, Daniels and Samoa Joe, but Christopher Daniels challenged AJ to a one-on-one and now these two members of Fortune, two best friends will face off to determine who's the best.
Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles
These two TNA originals slap hands as this one quickly ups the pace, but both men keep it neautral in having the action in the middle of the ring. Daniels and Styles are true best friends, naming their own children after one another. They trade holds as the audience cheer for both. Both men trade arm drags and Daniels thinks he has the upper hand, but Styles takes him down with one more arm drag and this leads to another exchange, this time with Daniels ending on top with a couple of One-counts. AJ takes over, wristlocking Daniels as the comms wonder how much of a mental match this is, a chess game if you will with how much these two know each other and how they continue to outsmart the other. Daniels falls to ringside and Styles sets for a dive, but can't even make the run-up as Daniels is quickly back in the ring. Styles and Daniels pause as the fans applaud and they slap hands again before another exchange of wrestling holds before Styles grounds Daniels on his back in the middle of the ring. This doesn't last as Daniels almost bides his time before working up to get back in the match. He and Styles exchange leap frogs and cartwheels before Daniels exist the ring and waves a finger in Styles direction, signalling that he's not going to fall for what's supposed to happen next. Styles literally chases Daniels around ringside and then back in the ring Daniels takes two hefty dropkicks in the face and the intensity ups a lot now as Styles looks to take control of the contest and he does. Daniels cannot hit a BME, he can't keep Styles down and Styles just stays on top, headscissorring his opponent to the canvas before putting a knee to Daniels neck and keeping him down with leverage on the arm. Finally Daniels is able to invert Styles effort and this leads to Daniels almost locking in a Styles Clash on AJ, but AJ quickly gets to the rope and exits the ring. This leads to not one, but two suicide dives from Daniels to AJ, both times Daniels sends AJ crashing into the railing. Back in the ring Daniels hits three suplexes getting Two on every cover. Styles tries to fight back, but Daniels uniquely neckbreakers his opponent back down to the canvas and this gets him Two on the count. Daniels focusses on Styles neck, perhaps targetting the injury Styles sustained at the hands of Bully Ray in Styles rivalry with Immortal. AJ fends Daniels off to have him go to ringside and this leads to AJ cross-bodying Daniels right over his own back and both men crash hard at ringside. Back in the ring Styles lands a couple of heavy right hands on Daniels before setting him up for a flying forearm smash into the corner. Styles covers, but obly gets Two and AJ looks frustrated, but he quickly cross-armbars Daniels into the canvas. Daniels gets the ropes and the two battle to the ring apron. Daniels attempts a move, but Styles reverse for a suplex, Daniels hits the edge of the ring hard as AJ lands on his feet at ringside. The contest goes on as Styles tries to build momentum by springboarding off the top rope to go at Daniels back in the ring, but Daniels flings himself at the ropes and Styles tangles to deck off the ropes and land hard back down at ringside. Back in the ring both men have spells on top and do all they can to get Three on near falls, but no cigar and Daniels goes for a submission now, cross-facing Styles in the middle of the ring. AJ fight back and the match goes back and forth again, both men exchanging chop after chop and Styles then takes Daniels down with a jumping enziguiri like kick. The pace soon quickens as AJ tries to put Daniels away, but after attempting a springboard, AJ slips and now Daniels gets back on top and he gets Two on the count after trying to caplitalize on Styles' mistake. The two trade right hands in the corner and this leads to Style getting Daniels up in reverse death valley position and he flips Daniels up and round to have him land down into a powerbomb like move. One, Two - oh and that was close, very close and Daniels is in trouble - but no, he comes back with a counter on Style with a jujitsu like submission move and it then takes a great deal of energy from Styles to back him and Daniels through the ropes to crash at ringside. Back in the ring the match goes on and Daniels gets Two on a count, but still he cannot put Styles away. Daniels takes Styles into reverse DDT position, but AJ kicks over and this leads to an eventual cover, but only for Two on the count. The two exchange once more and Styles then comes back flipping off ther ropes to flip over the back of Daniels to take him down for a reverse DDT. Styles then tries for a Styles Clash, no instead he chooses Daniels' own Angels Wings - but no dice as Daniels STO's Styles back down to the canvas. Daniels builds toward BME, but AJ counters and now he grabs Daniels into a Styles Clash and nails it; One, Two - wow and Daniels kicks out! AJ tries for the springborad off the apron for the third time in this match and again he can't hit the flying forearm because Daniels stops him and this leads to a fully connecting Angels Wings! One! Two! - and Styles kicks out! Holy hell! Daniels can't believe it! Both men eventually battle to the corner and Daniels looks for Angels Wings from off the top turnbuckle, but AJ back body drops him over and the crowd call for it and Styles delivers; Spiral Tap! Styles makes the cover and that finally gets him One! Two! Three!
Winner: AJ Styles.
An amazing end to an awesome evening of Total Non-stop Action Wrestling. What a night! The comms review replays as AJ holds out his hand to Daniels and after thinking twice, Daniels and his friend embrace. Good night everybody from Orlando, Florida.
Destination X finishes with a commercial for TNA's upcoming pay-per-view Hardcore Justice Live August 7th 2011.
