KURT ANGLE STRIPPED OF THE TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE â€“ CORNETTE ANNOUNCES KING OF THE MOUNTAIN MATCH
Following last Sundayâ€™s â€�"SacrificeÃ¢â¬Â, controversy surrounded the TNA World Heavyweight Title, as Kurt Angle, Christian Cage and Sting all claimed they should rightfully be champion. As a result of what took place at the Pay-Per-View, Jim Cornette stripped Kurt Angle of the TNA World Title and announced that a new champion would be crowned in the King of The Mountain Match at Slammiversary! The first qualifying bout took place on Thursday night, with Angle beating Ã¢â¬Å"The War MachineÃ¢â¬Â Rhino to advance to the Pay-Per-View bout!

WHAT IS THE LINK BETWEEN STING AND THE FALLEN ANGEL?
Also on Thursday night, Ã¢â¬Å"The Fallen AngelÃ¢â¬Â Christopher Daniels defeated Raven in a Ã¢â¬Å"First BloodÃ¢â¬Â match, but things got strange after the bout when Daniels approached Sting backstage and began speaking to the icon. Daniels told Sting Ã¢â¬Å"IÃ¢â¬â¢m committed to the path Ã¢â¬â just like you told meÃ¢â¬Â and that Daniels had taken to heart the advice Sting had apparently given him.
