About an hour before the death of al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden was officially announced, one former WWE Superstar began tweeting some cryptic messages.
The Rock's tweets started out with him saying that he had some news "that will shock the world." Multiple reports suggest that the first person to report on Bin Laden's death was Keith Urbann, the former chief-of-staff to ex-defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld. He tweeted the following:
"So I'm told by a reputable person they have killed Osama Bin Laden. Hot damn." The post was followed up two minutes later by a tweet that read: "Don't know if it's true, but let's pray it is."
At EXACTLY the same time, however, The Rock also wrote the following, but it's unclear if he was actually referring to the news about Bin Laden:
"Just got word that will shock the world - Land of the free...home of the brave DAMN PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!"
