Abyss vs. Douglas Williams (c)
Television Championship
Williams was not prepared for this match as he was set to face his long-term rival AJ Styles. Quite what the matter with Styles is we\'re not too sure, but Williams himself is only using one hand in this contest due to an injury he sustained on Impact recently. Williams keeps looking at his hand, it\'s bandaged but it\'s bothering him because it\'s a big bullseye for Abyss to target throughout this match. Abyss dominates Williams to ringside and smashes his hand off the steel steps. This is a tough up hill battle for the Champion and soon Abyss almost has a chokeslam on Williams, but the Brit gets out of it with a discus punch. Williams tries to get some momentum as he goes against the ropes, but The Monster then levels him with a big boot. Williams rolls to ringside as Abyss stalks him and soon Abyss grabs the TV Title Belt and attempts to slam it on the hand of Williams, but he misses and that was lucky, or else Abyss woulda been DQ\'d and Williams would be armless in any defense against Immortal\'s beast which is Abyss. The Monster has control of Abyss in the ring as the Belt rests under the bottom turnbuckle and Douglas Williams manages to buy some time as he nails Abyss with a European uppercut. Williams headbutts Abyss and follows with uppercuts to then eventually ground The Monster with a back suplex. Williams goes uncharicteristicaly to the top rope and lands a splash on Abyss. One, Two, not enough to beat The Monster. Williams corners Abyss and tries to clobber him with a running high knee, but Abyss batters him down and he covers for One, Two, no, Williams reaches the bottom rope. Abyss has a psycho look on his face and he exits the ring to reach under and grab his weapon of choice, Janice. The nail-bolted 2X4 is in Abyss\' grasp, but wait, a game-plan, this is a distraction as the ref tells Abyss to put Janice down and we watch AJ Styles limp into the ring and he grabs that Belt from under the corner buckle and Styles comes in to lay out Douglas Williams and for what it\'s worth, Styles does look like he\'s carrying an injury. Abyss soon comes in minus Janice, the ref didn\'t see anything and Abyss finishes Williams with a Black-Hole Slam.
Winner and New TV Champ: Abyss.
They did it, Immortal wanted to win all the Belts and it\'s mission accomplished tonight. Backstage Eric Bishcoff is trading words with Rob Van Dam as RVD still says that he wants Jeff Hardy for the Title. Bischoff says \"Be careful what you wish for\" and says \"You want Hardy, you got Hardy\"...
