BSkyB in the United Kingdom have confirmed that the network of Bravo channels which they purchased in June for £160m as part of their Living TV Group acquisition will cease broadcasting from January 1st 2011. The Bravo channel is currently the UK Home for TNA iMPACT!
The long running channel which launched to the UK market in 1985 has long been associated with wrestling since the beginning of the decade. The flagship channel Bravo broadcast World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling Hardcore TV during their final year in business.
The family of channels including Bravo, Bravo+1 and Bravo 2 will all stop broadcasting on all digital TV platforms, including Sky and Virgin Media from the beginning of 2011. Sky have confirmed that TNA Wrestling will be moved to new Sky channel and an announcement regarding such will follow in \"due course\". - This report was wrote by Ben Kerin (WrestlingNewsSource.com)

This will certainly be a huge boost for TNA Wrestling in the United Kingdom over the course of 2011. Sky has a lot more power behind it in terms of advertising and broadcasting quality so it will be interesting to see how they utilize it with regards to TNA iMPACT! Such a move (and I only speculate) could mean a new time slot and day closer to the US broadcast of iMPACT! It will also be a chance for TNA to air in full HD should they land themselfs a slot on one of Sky\'s many HD ready channels. I might also suggest Sky try and poach PPV\'s back and move them off extreme sport, which lets face it is no match for Sky.
