Former WWF Ring Announcer & Radio Host Passes Away

WrestlingNewsSource.com is sad to report the passing of Michael Porter aged 59. Porter was a Ring Announcer and Timekeeper for World Wrestling Entertainment (then-World Wrestling Federation) (1988-1993) and was trained by \"The Fink\" Howard Finkel. After leaving WWF he remained active doing a number of wrestling projects and was named permanent ring announcer and creative team member for Continental Championship Wrestling of Medford, Oregon (2008)

I have a tear in my eye.I have not long received the news that my colleague and friend Michael Porter has passed away aged 59, he had been in poor health for some time. I had the pleasure of working with Michael for several years at Wrestling-Radio.com (our former site) promoting his show \"WrestleShoot\". As a person Porter was was a kind hearted and passionate man who told a damn good story. I will miss you Michael - R.I.P . Call WrestleShoot from the Heavens for me.
