Former WWE/WCW superstar Sean Haire (a/k/a Sean O’Hiare) was recently attacked outside of a bar and suffered three fractures to his orbital lobe and fractures to his face and skull. Haire claims he was trying to help one of his friends who was in trouble. Witnesses reported that Haire actually started the fight and one man in the altercation, Juan Brantely, was fighting in self defense. The bar owner noted that on more than one occasion Haire had tried to start a fight with Brantely. Haire has been doing MMA fights since leaving WWE.


Former WWE superstar Chris Kanyon has officially announced his retirement from professional wrestling on his online blog. Kanyon has been working the independent scene since being released by WWE and claims his release was due to the fact that he was homosexual. However; there has never been any evidence to backup this claim. Kanyon says now at 37 years old, he is ready to move on to the next stage in his life.
