*RAW opens with a video promoting tonight\'s Slammy Awards.

*A “Superstar of the Year” tournament is announced for tonight, featuring Undertaker vs. Randy Orton and John Cena vs. CM Punk. Justin Roberts then introduces guest host Dennis Miller. Miller says he\'s happy to be in Texas, but could have used a head\'s up on the pyrotechnics. Miller makes a few more jokes, getting a decent response from the crowd. Miller then compares WWE to politics, saying that they both have loud obnoxious women and people who have faces that would scare little children. Side-by-side graphics of Nancy Pelosi and Vickie Guerrero then come on the Titantron, followed by altered images of Triple H and Shawn Michaels with the heads of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Images of John Cena and Barack Obama then show up, with Miller saying that one of them got put through a table, while the other still has yet to bring anything to one. Miller then hypes this Saturday\'s “Tribute to the Troops” special and also hypes USACares.org

*R-Truth and Jillian Hall are then introduced to present the Slammy Award for “Tag Team of the Year”. Jillian then attempts to sing “Whoop There it Is”, before R-Truth interrupts and says “Whoop There it Ain\'t”! He then tells Jillian that she has inspired him to change the lyrics to his theme song...”you can get with this, you can get with that, you better get with this cuz this is where it\'s at...SHUT UP!”

*Nominees for the “Tag Team of the Year” Slammy Award are DX, Legacy, the Hart Dynasty, and Jeri-Show. Jeri-Show are then announced as the winners. Jericho asks the crowd if they were expecting someone else. He says he could come out and feign surprise but he won\'t because Jericho and Big Show are the best tag tea of this year or any other. Jericho then thanks Edge for being out for so long and having to surrender one-half of the Unified Tag Team Championship. Jericho then thanks himself for choosing such a great partner like Big Show. Big Show then says despite what happened last night at “TLC”, Jeri-Show will regain their titles in the near future. Jericho then says he\'s invoking their rematch clause to face DX for the titles tonight, and they will prove why they\'re the best tag team of all time

*Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Matt Striker then show images from the Sheamus vs. John Cena match from “TLC” when Sheamus became the new WWE Champion. It is then announced that ECW General Manager Tiffany and SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long will both present the “Breakout Superstar of the Year” Slammy Award later in the night

*Cole and Lawler then hype the voting for “Diva of the Year” on WWE.com before going to William Regal, Vladimir Kozlov, and Ezekiel Jackson in the ring. Regal says despite what happened last week on ECW, he\'s glad that his team are on the same page. He then says he has challenged Christian to find two partners to face them in a six-man tag team match tonight. Christian then comes out as Regal says they are dying to know who Christian\'s partners are because he won\'t be able to find anyone to handle his “monsters”. Christian says that his partners may have had troubles in the past but they\'ve put them aside for one night to destroy Regal\'s monsters. Christian\'s partners are then revealed to be Kane and the Great Khali

*Christian, Kane, and the Great Khali defeated William Regal, Vladimir Kozlov, and Ezekiel Jackson in a six-man tag team match. A good amount of back-and-forth tags between both teams. Khali scored the pinfall victory by hitting Kozlov with a big chop to the head

*Dennis Miller then reappears on the stage and congratulates Kane and Khali. He says he ran into the two backstage earlier and he felt as out of place as Michael Moore in a speedo at a “Twilight” premiere. Miller then introduces Theodore Long and Tiffany, who are presenting the Slammy Award for “Breakout Superstar of the Year”

*Nominees for “Breakout Superstar of the Year” are Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Yoshi Tatsu, and Abraham Washington. Sheamus is then announced as the winner. Sheamus takes his award and shakes Teddy\'s hand. Sheamus says he supposes that the people take him seriously now, then asked if John Cena takes him seriously and if Cena thinks that Sheamus is still a footnote in WWE history. Sheamus names a few Hall of Famers and says he\'s better than them because they could never accomplish what he did at “TLC”. Sheamus says now that\'s he\'s the WWE Champion, Cena will never get the belt back

*The nominees for “Superstar of the Year” are CM Punk, Undertaker, Randy Orton, and John Cena. The tournament matches are then announced again, with the winners facing each other, and the eventual tournament winner being named “Superstar of the Year”

*Kofi Kingston defeated Cody Rhodes by disqualification after interference from Ted DiBiase. As DiBiase attacks Kingston, Evan Bourne makes the save. Dennis Miller then announces that he\'s been given his own Slammy Award for “Best Announcement From a Guest Host”, then announces that the match will be restarted as a tag team match with Rhodes and DiBiase against Kingston and Bourne. Miller then tells the referee to ring the bell after saying “Jeremy Piven, Al Sharpton...SUCK IT!”

*Legacy defeated Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne after Cody Rhodes hit the Cross-Rhodes on Bourne for the win

*Dennis Miller then introduces Vickie Guerrero and Santino Marella as the presenters of the “Shocker of the Year” Slammy Award. Vickie says there have been a lot of shocking moments in 2009, including her return to SmackDown and becoming Teddy Long\'s official consultant. Santino says what\'s even more shocking is that Vickie stopped eating her deep fried pork quesadillas long enough to come out to the stage because Vickie is “slightly overweight”

*Nominees for the “Shocker of the Year” Slammy Award are Randy Orton DDT\'ing Stephanie McMahon, Batista turning on Rey Mysterio, CM Punk retiring Jeff Hardy, and Sheamus putting Mark Cuban through a table. CM Punk is announced as the winner

*A promo for tomorrow night\'s ECW is shown, announcing that ECW General Manager Tiffany has invited Kane as a special guest

*CM Punk is then shown in the ring. He says he wants to thank himself for winning the “Shocker of the Year” Slammy Award. He goes through a list of his accolades before telling the fans that they are throwing their lives away and he doesn\'t care what the people think. Punk says his greatest achievement of 2009 was getting rid of Jeff Hardy from the WWE forever. Punk says it\'s only fitting that he should move on to become the 2009 “Superstar of the Year”

*John Cena defeated CM Punk in a “Superstar of the Year” tournament match. Punk submitted to Cena\'s STF submission hold in what was a fairly quick match. Cena then gets on the mic and congratulates Sheamus on becoming the new WWE Champion. Cena says he needs to take a second and apologize to anyone that he let down at “TLC”. He says sometimes you can try so hard and be prepared for something and still fail. Every time you fail, it\'s painful, and as Cena saw last night, it causes disappointment. Cena says no matter how big the setback or the failure, you never give up. Cena says he respects the people who stand in his corner, saying that have not given up on him and Cena will not give up on them. Cena says the WWE Universe is all he has, and that what happened at “TLC” will never happen again, then says his road to WrestleMania starts right now because he can\'t be stopped. Cena says the next headline for WWE.com should be that he will not lose another match until he once again becomes WWE Champion

*Dennis Miller then praises the WWE Superstars for entertaining the troops overseas before introducing Triple H as the presenter for the “Match of the Year” Slammy Award. HHH says that DX will defend the Unified Tag Team Championship later tonight

*Nominees for “Match of the Year” are Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker from WrestleMania 25, John Cena vs. Randy Orton in an “I Quit” Match from Breaking Point, Jeff Hardy vs. Edge in a Ladder Match from Extreme Rules, and Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown from Bragging Rights. HBK vs. Undertaker is announced as the winner. Triple H tells the fans if they haven\'t seen the match, then they need to see it. Shawn says he has had the good fortune of winning the award for the last two years. HBK says he beat Ric Flair at WrestleMania 24 but came up short against Taker at WrestleMania 25, then thanks the fans again. Shawn then says that he can beat Undertaker – he knows it, and Taker knows it. HBK then challenges Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania 26

*Randy Orton defeated Undertaker in a “Superstar of the Year” tournament match by countout after Rhodes and DiBiase came down to the ring and distracted Undertaker. Orton hit Taker with an RKO outside the ring and managed to get back in before the referee\'s ten-count. After the match, Orton and Legacy attempted to attack Undertaker, but Taker choked both DiBiase and Rhodes and threw them over the top rope before chokeslamming Orton The final match will now be Randy Orton vs. John Cena to determine who the 2009 “Superstar of the Year” will be

*Dennis Miller then welcomes Vince McMahon to present the “Guest Host of the Year” Slammy Award. Vince said he had a vision to have a guest host for RAW every week a while back, and some have been better than others...he then looks at Miller

*Nominees for “Guest Host of the Year” are Bob Barker, Seth Green, Shaquille O\'Neal, and Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne. Bob Barker is announced as the winner. Barker then appears on the Titantron, thanking Vince McMahon and the WWE fans for voting for him as “Guest Host of the Year”, as well as selling a lot of copies of his book, “Priceless Memories”. Barker said that thanks to the book\'s proceeds going to the DJ&T Foundation, the foundation thanked them as well

*Vince then asks Dennis Miller who he would pick as a good guest host, running down names such as Al Franken and Sarah Palin. Miller then suggests Bret “The Hitman” Hart, which put a strange look on Vince\'s face. Miller then asked the fans if they wanted to see Hart as a guest host, which garnered a HUGE ovation. Vince then walked off the stage

*Dennis Miller is then shown backstage on the phone, before being interrupted by Chris Jericho. Jericho thanks Miller for showing him respect. Miller interrupts Jericho by telling him that Jericho is a black hole who sucks all of the energy, and also compares him to Kanye West showing up at a Taylor Swift fan club. Jericho then gets back on the phone and says that Jericho was just whining again

*Chris Jericho and Big Show defeated Unified Tag Team Champions DX by disqualification after Triple H pushed the referee over Shawn Michaels, causing the referee to call for the bell. HBK asked Triple H why he cost them the match, but then said that the titles don\'t change hands on a disqualification. DX then told Jericho that that was his one and only rematch and that technically, Jericho can\'t be in a RAW ring anymore and that he was also trespassing. The DX music hit and Hurricane, Cryme Tyme, Finlay, R-Truth, and Christian came to the ring wearing DX garb. HBK hit Sweet Chin Music on Jericho as the group forced him backstage and pushed Jericho out of the arena and locked the door. Chris Jericho is now ejected from RAW forever!

*Carlito, Eve Torres, and Chris Masters come out onto the stage to present the Slammy Award for “Extreme Moment of the Year”. As Carlito is talking, Masters does his chest thing. Carlito says he can do that too, then asks Eve if she can, but Eve says he\'ll never find out

*Nominees for “Extreme Moment of the Year” are Kofi Kingston\'s Boom Drop on Randy Orton at Madison Square Garden, Big Show throwing John Cena into a spotlight, Jeff Hardy\'s extreme dive off of a ladder, and Triple H invading Randy Orton\'s home. Jeff Hardy is announced as the winner, but accepting the award on Jeff\'s behalf is Matt Hardy. Matt says Jeff wants everyone to know that he\'s happy for winning the award. Carlito interrupts and asks Matt why he\'s accepting the award if he didn\'t win. As Matt continues talking, Carlito hits him with a hard fist, then accepts the award for himself. As Carlito walks off, Eve takes the award away, then Masters locks in the Masterlock on Carlito

*A preview for “The Marine 2” starring Ted DiBiase is shown

*John Morrison, Yoshi Tatsu, and Mark Henry defeated The Miz, Zack Ryder, and Drew McIntyre in a six-man tag team match after Tatsu pinned Ryder after a kick to the head

*Melina, the Bella Twins, Gail Kim, Maria, Kelly Kelly, and Mickie James defeated Michelle McCool, Rosa Mendes, Layla, Beth Phoenix, Maryse, Alicia Fox, and Natalya in a 7-on-7 Diva Tag Team Match when Mickie pinned Rosa after a DDT

*Goldust and MVP come out onto the stage to present the “Diva of the Year” Slammy Award. All of the Divas were eligible to win this award. Goldust said that he\'s always been considered as somewhat of a Diva and that he should just accept the award for himself. MVP says no, then Goldust asks why not because MVP is on the stage and PMS is in the ring. Goldust then leaves the stage and MVP announces that Maria is the 2009 Diva of the Year. Maria thanks the fans before Batista comes out and interrupts. He says he should be the winner of the “Screwjob of the Year” award because he should be the World Heavyweight Champion. Two members of security then come out and escort Batista backstage

*Abraham Washington, Tony Atlas, and Big Dick Johnson come out to present the “Oh My! Moment of the Year” Slammy Award. Atlas continuously laughs at Johnson\'s jiggliness

*”Oh My! Moment of the Year” Nominees are Chris Masters\' Chest Thing, HBK superkicking a little girl, Michael Cole vomiting on Chris Jericho, Santino Marella getting pied on Thanksgiving before accidentally pieing Vickie Guerrero. Michael Cole is announced as the winner and is going completely nuts. Cole says he put in a lot of years for that scene. Cole says it\'s the era of “Vintage” and “Oh My”, and to forget “Boomer Sooner” because now it\'s “Hook \'em Horns!”

*Dennis Miller gives the “Oh My!” envelope to a fan at ringside before thanking everyone for coming. He again plugs USACares.org before leaving the stage. The final “Superstar of the Year” tournament match is announced as John Cena vs. Randy Orton

*DX is shown backstage near a Christmas tree plugging several items on WWEShop.com. They are also standing near a toy WWE ring, which Triple H accidentally destroys. HBK then sits down before Triple H gives him a new DX Snuggie. Hornswoggle then appears and gives DX gifts, the gifts being WWEShop.com gift cards. Triple H says that just because Hornswoggle gave them gifts doesn\'t mean he\'s off the hook. HBK then attempts to catch Hornswoggle, then Triple H does the same. HHH thinks he\'s caught him, but it turns out to be HBK as Hornswoggle smiles and giggles. Triple H then runs off

*New York Yankees baseball star Johnny Damon was announced to be next week\'s RAW guest host, and will also be bringing along what are being referred to as \"WWE Secret Santas\"

*John Cena defeated Randy Orton to become the 2009 “Superstar of the Year”. After the match, Sheamus appeared on the stage and taunted Cena by holding the WWE Championship belt high above his head to end the show
