From the Showboat Sports Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1986...
-AWA World Tag Team Champions Curt Hennig & Scott Hall defeated Terry Hendrickson & Earthquake Ferris in a non-title match
-"Playboy" Buddy Rose with Sherri Martel in his corner defeated Bill Anderson. Following the match, Rose stated that no one could defeat either him or Martel. Martel then said that the AWA referees had been "paid off" before saying that Rose deserved a championship and that she wanted her Women's Championship back from Candi Devine
-From the AWA archives...at the St. Paul Civic Center in 1986, Brad Rheingans was supposed to face King Kong Brody, but ended up attacking Sheik Adnan al-Kaissie after the Sheik kept running his mouth. Rheingans was then attacked by a masked man, who helped the Sheik double-team Rheingans. Before the masked man could use a chair on Rheingans, Greg Gagne came into the ring and started fighting off the masked man, then hit him with a chair. Gagne then removed the mask, revealing the masked man to be, in fact, King Kong Brody. Brody gave Gagne a piledriver, which brought AWA head Verne Gagne into the ring, who started going after Brody himself. The Sheik tried attacking Verne from behind, but Verne was able to fight him off before disposing of Brody
-Greg Gagne then announced that for his upcoming steel cage tag team match against King Kong Brody & the Barbarian, his partner Jerry Blackwell was put in the hospital and would be unable to compete. Gagne announced his new partner was "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka. If Gagne and Snuka were able to defeat Brody & the Barbarian in that match, Verne Gagne would be able to fight Sheik Adnan al-Kaissie alone in the ring for ten minutes
-AWA World Heavyweight Champion Stan "The Lariat" Hansen defeated Leon "Baby Bull" White to retain the title. It was then announced that Hansen would defend the title against Nick Bockwinkel at AWA "WrestleRock '86"
