946 is already taking the fight to Roman Reigns, The Usos and Solo Sikoa. With Survivor Series weeks away, Jonathan Coachman says WWE has skipped a step. Fans know who the group is fighting, but what brought its members together?

“I hope 946 sees this, ’cause you guys need to push back and challenge your creative,” Coachman said on X.

His first question was about Cruz Montana. NXT fans knew him as a fan favourite. He then joined 946 as a villain, only to return to NXT and play the fan favourite again.

“With all the vignettes and everything he’s gone through, why would you not explain why he is a heel?”

Coachman also questioned whether viewers could name the group’s two powerhouses. But it was Jaida Parker calling herself “misunderstood” that caught his ear.

“We haven’t explained why you’re part of 946. We haven’t explained why Cruz is like that. And then how about Carmelo? The most charismatic man in the entire group, and he’s an afterthought.”
