Danhausen spent October in the company of Papa Shango and The Boogeyman. Now WWE reportedly has a Christmas role in mind for him, complete with a new name for the festive season. Enter Santahausen.

Danhausen’s “Very Nice, Very Evil Halloween Special” brought the three together on WWE’s YouTube channel. WWE also featured Danhausen in programming around SmackDown and NXT Halloween Havoc. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, the success of that Halloween campaign gave WWE an idea for Christmas.

“Following the tremendous success of Danhausen during Halloween season, a source indicated to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select that, at least from a marketing standpoint, Danhausen will be portrayed as Santahausen over the next few months, with several Christmas-themed merchandise items being prepared for release ahead of the holidays.”

Among the more unusual items WWE reportedly has in the works is a Santahausen puppet. WrestleVotes shared a few more details about what fans could find under the tree this year.

“We’re told WWE has high hopes for the Danhausen/Christmas lineup, which will include T-shirts, hoodies, puppets, magnets, and more.”
