Darby Allin is heading to Arena Mexico for his CMLL debut, and a clash with Hechicero awaits.

The AEW TNT Champion will face the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion on Friday, October 30, as part of the promotion’s Day of the Dead celebrations. Tickets have already sold out.

Their match will be a non-title contest. Fans can watch live through MyAEW pay-per-view or with a subscription to the highest tier of CMLL’s YouTube channel.

It adds another big match to Allin’s busy schedule. Before travelling to Mexico City, he will defend the TNT Championship against Josh Alexander on Wednesday’s Fright Night edition of AEW Dynamite. The former AEW World Champion is currently in his third reign with the TNT title.

Allin then heads into Blood and Guts on Dynamite the following week. He will team with Steven Borden, The Young Bucks, Adam Copeland and Will Ospreay against Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, Wardlow and Kazuchika Okada.

Facing Hechicero gives Allin another encounter with a Don Callis Family member before that showdown.

Hechicero, who holds contracts with both AEW and CMLL, also has a major title defence ahead. He will put the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Zack Sabre Jr. at CMLL and NJPW’s Lucha Kingdom event at Arena Mexico on November 16.
