Ric Flair has reassured fans that he is focused on recovering after a fall in Tampa led to him being taken to hospital.
According to TMZ, the WWE Hall of Famer fell outside a restaurant on Friday, October 23. The incident happened hours after Flair told fans he could not fly because of a blood clot.
Flair addressed his hospital visit in a statement on X on Saturday, thanking supporters for their messages and praising the team at Tampa General Hospital.
“Thank you all for the messages and prayers! I will get back to you each individually as I get stronger.
Thank you to all the Tampa General Hospital staff and doctors who put up with me until 4:30 a.m. I appreciate you all, and thank you for everything you did for me!
I am focused on my healing and recovery right now. I will be okay!
And just so you know, for those who were asking and wondering, I don’t own my own Facebook page anymore. I apologize for the reckless posting behavior on my Facebook when I was in the hospital. It was completely inappropriate!”
His statement offered reassurance to concerned fans while also addressing posts that appeared on his Facebook page during his hospital visit. Flair said he no longer owns the page and apologised for the content.
