AEW will welcome 2027 with two nights of New Year’s Smash action in the Atlanta area, including a special Friday edition of Dynamite.
The event begins on New Year’s Day, January 1, with Dynamite, followed by Collision on Saturday, January 2. Both shows will take place at The Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday, October 30. Mercedes Mone, Persephone, The New Level and Kevin Knight appear on the promotional graphic, although match announcements have yet to be revealed.
New Year’s Smash has been part of AEW’s annual schedule since 2021, with editions held around the turn of the year. The 2025 event took place in Omaha, Nebraska, where Willow Nightingale defeated Mone in the main event.
Before heading to Georgia, AEW has several themed television shows lined up to close out 2026. Next week brings Fright Night editions of Dynamite and Collision from St. Louis, Missouri.
Blood & Guts, the Jericho cruise, Thanksgiving week, Winter is Coming and Holiday Bash are also on the schedule before the end of the year.
AEW’s remaining 2026 pay-per-views are Full Gear on November 14 and Worlds End on December 19.
