Ric Flair was taken to hospital on Friday after suffering a fall outside a restaurant in Tampa, Florida, according to TMZ.
The outlet reports that Flair had been at the bar inside Wagamama that morning before getting up and walking across the street, leaving his phone and drink behind. He then fell outside and injured his face.
Emergency medical personnel attended to the wrestling legend before taking him away in an ambulance. TMZ obtained a photograph showing him receiving assistance at the scene.
Sources told TMZ that Flair suffered cuts to his head and around his eye, with significant bleeding reported. They also suggested he may have sustained a concussion, although this has not been confirmed. At the time of the report, there had been no official update on his condition.
The news comes hours after Flair cancelled his planned appearance at Washington State Horror Con in Seattle because of a blood clot in his leg. He explained that doctors had restricted his travel to journeys of three to four hours and that he was scheduled to undergo a procedure to strip the affected vein.
Flair, 77, is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and 16-time world champion who remains under contract with AEW.
