Amazing Red’s memorable return to TNA Wrestling has reportedly led to a new contract with the promotion.
According to PWInsider, the newly inducted TNA Hall of Famer has signed a deal following his X-Division Championship victory at Bound for Glory 2026. TNA has yet to announce the signing, but the report states that the agreement is complete.
Bound for Glory proved to be a special night for Red. After being honoured during the pre-show with his Hall of Fame induction, he entered the Ultimate X match and captured the vacant X-Division Championship.
The victory began his fourth reign with the title and his first since 2010, giving one of the division’s early pioneers another opportunity to add to his legacy.
The championship became vacant after Leon Slater exercised “Option C”, giving up the belt for a shot at the TNA World Championship. Slater is now TNA World Champion.
Red’s latest run marks his first return to TNA since 2011. Away from the promotion, he is a founder of House of Glory, where he continues to wrestle and operate its training school.
His reported signing follows TNA’s confirmation this week that Shotzi Blackheart has joined the company and Director of Authority Santino Marella has re-signed. Further contract developments are expected over the coming weeks as TNA deals with contracts approaching their expiry dates before the end of the year.
