New details have emerged about a phone call between PAC’s wife and police on the day the wrestling star died.
According to the New York Post, Natalie Taylor called her husband’s mobile phone on September 27 while officers were at the scene where he had been found unresponsive inside a rental car in the Chicago area.
A report from the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said police answered the call. Taylor reportedly told them she had spoken with PAC less than three hours before he was pronounced dead.
During their earlier conversation, PAC had told his wife he planned to stop at CAVA for food before travelling to O’Hare Airport.
Taylor also told investigators that her husband had been diagnosed with a medical condition and prescribed medication. According to the report, she said he had “no history of illicit drug or alcohol abuse.”
Toxicology testing revealed no significant findings. The medical examiner determined that PAC died from bronchial asthma and ruled his death natural. Inhalers were also found at the scene.
AEW announced PAC’s death on September 27. He was 40 and had competed at All Out less than 24 hours before he was found. WWE fans also knew him as Neville.
