Ivy Nile’s WWE future has come into focus following a report that her contract was originally due to expire at the beginning of October.
According to Fightful Select, Nile was approaching the end of her deal earlier this month. However, she remains listed on WWE’s roster page and competed on the October 6 episode of NXT, after the reported expiry date.
Those appearances suggest she may have signed a new contract or had time added to her existing agreement. WWE has not announced a new deal, and neither possibility has been confirmed.
Despite being part of the Raw roster, Nile returned to NXT for a 20-woman battle royal to determine the next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship. Wren Sinclair won the match while disguised as AAA’s Lady Shani, earning a title match against Kelani Jordan at Halloween Havoc.
There could also be a new partnership ahead for Nile. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in September that WWE planned to bring Nile and Jordynne Grace back to television as a tag team, with vignettes filmed over the summer.
The pairing has yet to debut on television. Grace has not wrestled for WWE since June and has been taking part in bodybuilding competitions during her absence from the ring.
Nile signed with WWE in January 2020 and established herself in NXT as a member of Diamond Mine alongside the Creed Brothers. She moved to Raw in November 2023 before joining American Made in August 2024.
The update comes as PWInsider reports that Dragon Lee has signed a new WWE contract.
