Jim Ross has shared that he is back in hospital due to low oxygen, just days after undergoing a successful brain procedure.
The 74-year-old AEW commentator posted a brief update on social media, letting fans know about his latest health setback.
“Back in the hospital due to low oxygen. Weighed 198. Need a break. 🤠”
Ross underwent a procedure on October 7 to address an issue with a shunt. His latest message did not provide further details about his treatment or how long he expects to remain in hospital.
His most recent appearance at the AEW commentary desk came at Double or Nothing in May 2026, when he called the Continental Championship match between Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly.
Everyone at WNS wishes Ross well as he receives care.
