Former WWE wrestler Chad Wicks, best known to fans as Chad Dick, has reportedly been released from jail after posting a cash bond following his arrest in Iowa.
According to PWInsider, Wicks was arrested in Mason City on September 29 at approximately 6:19 p.m. local time and booked into Cerro Gordo County Jail.
The report lists several traffic-related charges, including an unsafe turn or failure to signal, improper rear lamps, failure to provide proof of financial liability, and driving while his licence was denied, suspended, cancelled or revoked.
His booking also reportedly included the notation “detox.” Wicks subsequently posted a cash bond of $1,501.51 and was released at 12:22 local time, according to the report.
Wicks joined WWE in 2004 and competed in its Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental territory before arriving on the main roster in 2005. As Chad Dick, he teamed with James Dick in the tag team known as The Dicks.
The pair appeared mainly on SmackDown and Velocity before Wicks left WWE in 2006. He later retired from professional wrestling in 2007.
