AEW’s tribute to PAC brought Dynamite its biggest cable television audience in almost three years, with 899,000 viewers tuning in to TBS on September 30.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that the show recorded a 0.22 rating among adults aged 18 to 49 and a 0.32 among those aged 25 to 54. Those figures cover the television broadcast and do not include viewers watching on HBO Max.
The episode took place at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, where AEW honoured PAC following his death on September 27 at the age of 40. The evening began with a ten-bell salute and ended with a video celebrating his wrestling career.
Dynamite’s audience increased by 258,000 viewers compared with the previous week, a rise of around 40 per cent.
The September 23 broadcast ran for three hours, with the final hour presented as Collision. The Dynamite portion attracted 641,000 viewers and a 0.10 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, while Collision drew 493,000 viewers and a 0.08 rating.
The tribute episode delivered Dynamite’s highest cable audience since October 18, 2023, when the show drew 901,000 viewers. Its 0.22 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic was also its strongest since November 13, 2024, which recorded the same figure.
However, comparisons with those earlier broadcasts come with a qualification. Nielsen changed its Big Data + Panel measurement in January 2026, meaning the figures are not directly comparable across those periods.
