Kenny Omega made a winning return to the ring on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, reuniting with The Elite for the episode paying tribute to PAC.
Omega joined Hangman Page and The Young Bucks to face the Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero. It marked Omega’s first appearance since losing the AEW World Championship to Will Ospreay at All In in August.
The reunion ended with a victory as The Elite combined their offence before Omega delivered the One Winged Angel to Beretta for the pin. Afterwards, Omega, Page and The Young Bucks shared an embrace in the ring.
The match also gave Fletcher and Knight a chance to face The Young Bucks ahead of their upcoming challenge for the newly crowned AEW World Tag Team Champions’ titles.
Earlier in the evening, an emotional Page reflected on how much PAC meant to him during a backstage sit-down interview.
Omega’s own history with PAC stretches back to the inaugural All Out in 2019. Their rivalry later extended to the trios division, where Omega and The Young Bucks faced PAC, Penta and Rey Fenix in a best-of-seven series for the AEW World Trios Championship.
