Steven Borden Checked By Doctor As AEW All Out Tag Match Ends Early

Steven Borden suffered an apparent injury at AEW All Out, bringing the AEW World Tag Team Championship number one contender match to an early end.

Borden teamed with Darby Allin against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight at the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Fletcher and Knight were awarded the victory after a doctor stopped the match.

Allin spent much of the contest under pressure before making the tag to Borden. However, Borden’s attempt at a Stinger Splash sent him over the top rope to the floor, where he collided with the barricade.

Allin then launched himself into an outside dive, only for Knight to cut him off with a jumping knee strike.

The finish came after a coast-to-coast spot involving Borden and Knight. A doctor checked on Borden immediately after the landing, and the match was called off.

The stoppage handed Fletcher and Knight the win and the number one contender position.
