Seth Rollins says he will return to WWE television when the time is right, but he has no firm update on when fans can expect him back on Raw.

Rollins has been absent from WWE programming since losing to Roman Reigns in a title match at SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis. Although he returned to the ring for live events earlier this month, his television comeback remains uncertain.

Speaking to ESPN Chicago, Rollins was asked about his WWE status.

“Uh, no. I wish I could, honestly. I’ve been off WWE television since SummerSlam. Had a title match with Roman Reigns in Minneapolis, lost that match, and I’m just taking my time right now, kind of focusing on other things.”

Rollins recently performed in front of fans in South America and Mexico, and he had plenty of praise for the reception he received.

“At the end of the day, you know, I’ll come back when the time’s right. I was able to go down to South America a couple weeks ago and do some non-televised events for the South American and Mexican fans down there, really fantastic crowds. I mean, just unbelievable. Their passion for professional wrestling, what we do, is unparalleled, and they’re not, they’re not spoiled like the American crowds, you know? They don’t get shows very often.”

He also hopes the enthusiasm at those events will encourage WWE to visit more regularly.

“I think the last time we were in some of those towns was, six, seven, eight years ago. So, I mean, it was, it’s very special to be down there, and those fans showed up and showed out. And so, I hope that that was a sign to the higher-ups that we need to get back down there and do it a little bit more.”

As for a return to Monday nights, Rollins left fans with a brief answer.

“But, as for me and Monday Night RAW, I don’t know.”
