Becky Lynch’s latest WWE appearances may have brought her closer to the fans, and a new report suggests that shift is now reflected behind the scenes.

According to PWInsider, WWE currently lists Lynch as a babyface on Raw. The reported change comes as the company heads towards Money in the Bank 2026 in New Orleans, with The Man involved in the Women’s World Championship picture.

Lynch’s heel run began shortly after WrestleMania 41 in 2025. She returned to team with Lyra Valkyria and win the Women’s Tag Team Championship, but their partnership collapsed when they lost the belts the following night on Raw. Lynch attacked Valkyria, setting up her run as a villain.

She later joined her husband, Seth Rollins, in a rivalry with CM Punk and AJ Lee. With fans enthusiastically welcoming Lee back to WWE, Lynch became a natural opponent for the returning star.

Since returning after SummerSlam 2026, however, Lynch’s loyalties have become less clear. Her sharp tongue and confrontational approach remain, but her actions have increasingly put her on the same side as the fan favourites. Valkyria’s own subsequent heel turn has also changed the dynamic of their earlier rivalry.

Much of Lynch’s recent direction has revolved around Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer. Both Lynch and Vaquer returned after SummerSlam with their sights set on Morgan’s Women’s World Championship, and Lynch repeatedly helped Vaquer against The Judgment Day.

That involvement proved decisive at a WWE live event in Chile, where Lynch served as the special guest referee for Morgan’s title defence against Vaquer.

When Morgan appeared to have the match won, Lynch refused to count to three. Vaquer capitalised and went on to capture the championship, with Lynch playing a central role in the title change.

The reported babyface classification gives fans a clearer indication of WWE’s current plans for Lynch, although it does not necessarily signal a softer version of The Man. Her outspoken personality has long been central to her appeal, regardless of which side she occupies.

The bigger question is what happens next. Continuing to oppose Morgan could keep the crowd behind Lynch, but her own championship ambitions may eventually put her at odds with Vaquer.
