Triple H had plenty of praise for Dragon Lee after his performance on WWE Raw in Mexico City, along with a reminder to look after himself for the years ahead.

WWE has released a new behind-the-scenes vlog following Paul “Triple H” Levesque during a busy stretch of travel between Mexico City and Las Vegas, where he attended a TKO Boxing event.

The video includes a backstage conversation with Lee following his Intercontinental Championship match against Chad Gable on the September 14 episode of Raw.

Gable retained his title, but Lee impressed with a performance that included diving through the ropes and landing a cannonball on Gable on the announce table.

Triple H congratulated Lee afterwards, while encouraging him to save that particular move for special occasions. His message was clear: he wants Lee healthy and performing in WWE for the long term.

“Dude, f**ing badass,” he said to Lee. “Hey, do me a favor though? That table bump, keep that sht special. That’s a now and then one. I need you here long-term, not short-term.”

The exchange also comes amid questions about Lee’s future. His current WWE contract is reportedly due to expire in the coming months, while his brother Dralistico’s AEW deal is also approaching its end.

Although the conversation offers no confirmation of a new agreement, it gives fans a glimpse of Triple H’s appreciation for Lee and his concern for his wellbeing.
