TNA Wrestling could be the next destination for several former members of The Wyatt Sicks.
According to The Takedown on SI, the company has shown “serious interest” in signing multiple members of the group following their WWE releases in April after WrestleMania 42. However, no agreements have been confirmed, and it remains unclear which wrestlers TNA is targeting.
The WWE faction featured Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis.
The Takedown on SI reported:
“The Takedown on SI has learned that TNA Wrestling has expressed serious interest in bringing in multiple members of the Wyatt Sicks, but we have not been able to confirm at this time whether a deal has been reached with any of the five former WWE Superstars.”
“It’s also not clear which members specifically are in play for a potential debut with the company, but some combination of Taylor Rotunda, Joseph Sawyer, Samuel Shaw, and Erick Redbeard, formerly known as Uncle Howdy, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis and Erick Rowan, respectively, would provide an instant boost to the TNA tag team division.”
Since leaving WWE, the five have reunited for a WrestleCon appearance in Minneapolis, although their wrestling careers have taken them in different directions.
Gacy and Lumis, now competing as Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw, have continued teaming on the independent scene. The former WWE Tag Team Champions remain an active pairing, while Sawyer also holds the GCW World Championship.
They are scheduled to join Erick Redbeard, formerly Erick Rowan, for a six-man tag team match at Boca Raton Wrestling in Miami on November 6. The trio will face Gangrel and The Righteous.
Nikki Cross, now known as Nikki Storm, has taken on a new role outside the ring. Alongside continuing to wrestle, she owns British promotion PROGRESS Wrestling with her husband, Big Damo.
Dallas has yet to wrestle since his WWE departure. As Uncle Howdy, he led The Wyatt Sicks and helped carry forward the creative vision of his late brother, Bray Wyatt.
The report comes as TNA prepares for Bound for Glory in Tampa, Florida, on October 11. Before that, the promotion heads to San Antonio, Texas, for a live Impact episode and television tapings on September 24 and 25.
