Blake Monroe has a message for fans waiting to see her wrestle on WWE SmackDown: patience is part of the process.
Monroe has made several appearances on the blue brand and is involved in a rivalry with Giulia, but she has continued to avoid stepping into the ring for a televised match.
Speaking to Sporf, Monroe addressed the anticipation surrounding her debut and explained why she is happy to take her time.
“People are very impatient. Have you guys never taken time and care with anything? When you’re dating a woman, what do you think is going to happen on the first date? I’m betting it doesn’t happen, whatever you’re thinking.”
Monroe also acknowledged the support of fans who have followed her career across different countries and promotions. She understands their concerns, but believes timing matters.
“You have to wait for a good thing. I have always documented my journey very well, so I have a strong fanbase that have seen me go from the independent scene to Japan to America, now to NXT and WWE. So they’re so invested in me and want me to do well. People can get nervous or scared, and I understand that, but you have to have patience. Timing is everything. But I think that’s why people are invested in me, because they know me.”
The interview took place during WWE SummerSlam weekend in Minneapolis and was published on September 9, 2026.
Although her televised SmackDown debut is still to come, Monroe has already competed in front of a SmackDown crowd. She defeated Jordynne Grace in an untelevised dark match in May 2026.
