Liv Morgan has landed another film role as her acting career continues to grow alongside her success in WWE.
According to Deadline, the WWE Women’s World Champion will play a character named Jess in the upcoming psychological thriller “Ping.” Further details about her character have not yet been revealed.
The film stars Megan Lawless, known for the horror hit “Obsession,” with Savanah Moss and Carter Jenkins also joining the cast. First-time director Richie Gordon is behind the project, which is being produced in Mississippi.
“Ping” follows “an aspiring creative director who lands a remote dream job, but is forced to choose between her sanity and a boss she can never mute.”
Morgan had already given fans a glimpse of the project last month, sharing photographs from filming on Instagram before the casting announcement.
The WWE star, whose real name is Gionna Daddio, is represented by CAA and also appears in the upcoming film “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo.” A keen horror fan, she previously made an appearance in USA Network’s “Chucky” series.
Back in WWE, Morgan successfully defended her Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer on this week’s Raw. Their WrestleMania 42 rematch ended when Morgan used the championship belt to secure the victory while the referee was distracted by Becky Lynch fighting with members of The Judgment Day.
Morgan has held the title since defeating Vaquer at WrestleMania in April.
