WWE has launched WWE Ahora, its first Spanish-language podcast, with El Hijo del Vikingo joining hosts Andrea Bazarte and Eduardo Bates for the debut episode.

Released on Wednesday, the opening instalment puts the spotlight on a busy week of wrestling across Latin America, including WWE’s events in Mexico and two nights of AAA TripleMania.

The episode description, translated from Spanish, reads:

“Welcome to WWE Ahora! In our first episode, Andrea Bazarte and Eduardo Bates welcome Hijo del Vikingo to talk about the biggest week of professional wrestling in Latin America, with WWE in Mexico and the two nights of TripleMania in Las Vegas and Mexico City,”

The launch coincides with WWE’s latest live events, with shows scheduled for Wednesday night in Quito, Ecuador, and Guadalajara, Mexico.

Quito’s Coliseo General Rumiñahui is set to host Jacob Fatu, The Usos, Penta, Becky Lynch, Stephanie Vaquer, LA Knight, Liv Morgan and Seth Rollins. Rollins has not appeared on WWE programming since his loss to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam on August 2, although he is advertised for this event.

Meanwhile, the Guadalajara show is advertising CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Gunther, Charlotte Flair, Kevin Owens, Rey Fenix, Finn Bálor and Sami Zayn.

The action continues on Friday when TripleMania 34 holds its first night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The second night follows in Mexico City on Sunday.
