Following his comeback at Sunday Night’s Main Event, WWE released footage of Reed training at its headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Filmed during a visit last month, the video shows The Vision member discussing how he used his recovery from a torn biceps to prepare for his next chapter.
Reed said he weighed 365 pounds when he returned to WWE in late 2022. Ahead of his latest comeback, he expected to be between 265 and 270 pounds.
“By the time I’m back, I’ll probably be around 270, 265, 270 pounds. And at my heaviest, when I came back to WWE at the end of 2022, I was 365 pounds. So you’re looking at about a 90- to 100-pound difference since then to now,” Reed said.
For Reed, the change goes beyond his appearance. Watching wrestling throughout his absence helped him set goals and strengthened his determination to protect his place on the roster.
“So in the last three, four years, I feel like if you don’t evolve, you die. So especially in this business, you have to keep moving with the times. And I’m watching wrestling all the time, and I think that puts me in the mood to have a target and a goal of what I want to do. I even think of it as someone’s taking my spot, you know what I mean? So I need to make sure I’m on top of my game,” Reed added.
Despite his physical transformation, Reed intends to keep delivering the chaos fans associate with him. He described his ability to create “big monster movie moments” as something that makes him stand out, teasing more wild scenes upon his return.
With The Vision alongside him, Reed also suggested he could begin taking what he wants from other wrestlers simply because he can.
He finished with a message about the work he put into his recovery and a warning for the roster.
“I was once told everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of discomfort. So I’ve been pushing myself day and night to make sure I’m at my best. And next time you see me, I’m putting everyone on the roster on notice because when Bronson Reed comes back, it’s on site,” Reed said.
