Bronson Reed returned to WWE television at Sunday Night’s Main Event, attacking Oba Femi after almost seven months out of action.

Reed had been sidelined since suffering a torn bicep during an Elimination Chamber qualifying match in February. His comeback reunited him with Vision stablemate Bron Breakker during Breakker’s first singles meeting with Femi.

The match was billed as a battle to establish the future of WWE, but The Vision made its presence felt. Logan Paul and Austin Theory came out to assist Breakker before Reed ambushed Femi with a steel chair. Reed and Breakker then continued the assault after the match, leaving Femi laid out.

Reports earlier in the week suggested Reed was close to returning, with Sunday Night’s Main Event mentioned as a possible comeback date. Further reports placing him in Atlanta on the day of the show fuelled speculation that he would get involved.

His return gives The Vision a significant boost after injuries to both Reed and Breakker disrupted the group’s momentum on the road to WrestleMania 42. During their absence, Paul and Theory carried the group forward, with Maxxine Dupri later joining.

Reed and Breakker previously formed a powerful partnership, including during their battles with Roman Reigns and The Usos after Seth Rollins was removed from the faction. Their reunion could put that partnership back at the centre of The Vision’s plans on Raw.

There is also a potential tag team title storyline to watch. Breakker currently holds the World Tag Team Championship alongside Theory, having replaced an injured Paul. Reed’s return raises the possibility of another change to the group’s championship pairing, although no such move has been confirmed.
