Walker Stewart is stepping into the AEW Collision commentary booth this Saturday, bringing a familiar voice from Japanese wrestling to the September 5 broadcast.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Stewart worked alongside AEW’s commentary team during the September 2 taping at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. It marks his first time calling a regular AEW television show.
Stewart currently provides English-language commentary for NJPW and STARDOM.
This will not be his first appearance behind an AEW microphone. Stewart joined the commentary team for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in June, but Collision gives him a chance to bring his voice to the company’s weekly programming.
His appearance comes as AEW continues building towards All Out 2026, with several matches and championship bouts featured on Saturday’s episode.
Whether Stewart will become a more familiar presence on AEW broadcasts remains unclear. There is no word on further appearances or whether his Collision assignment is a one-off.
For now, fans who enjoy his work in NJPW and STARDOM have another reason to tune in this weekend.
