Bad Bunny cancelled shows and spent time living in Orlando to prepare for his WWE debut, according to John Morrison.

Speaking on The Wrestling Classic, Morrison praised the music superstar for taking wrestling seriously and putting in the work at WWE’s Performance Center.

“Bad Bunny, to me, was the nicest, most humble guy ever. He doesn’t have to be because he’s such a huge star. He’s even bigger now than he was in 2021.”

Morrison said Bunny’s dedication came from being a fan and wanting to show respect for the craft.

“He was such a big fan of wrestling, and he wanted to make sure that he didn’t disrespect the art form. So he canceled some of his shows and made time to live in Orlando for a while so he could go to the PC and train. He earned it, man. He put the time in. He was fantastic. He was nice to everybody. I can’t say more good things about Bad Bunny.”

Morrison saw that preparation pay off first-hand at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, when he teamed with The Miz against Bunny and Damian Priest in Bunny’s debut match.

Bunny later competed in the 2022 Royal Rumble before facing Priest in a Street Fight at Backlash 2023. That remains his most recent match, although rumours have linked him with a possible appearance in AAA.
