Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed made an immediate impact during their first appearance on AEW Dynamite, successfully defending the AEW World Trios Championship alongside Swerve Strickland.

Competing as The New Level, Kofi and Creed joined forces with Strickland to face The Rascalz in a fast-paced championship match.

Creed and Dezmond Xavier opened the contest by exchanging counters before Kofi entered and quickly increased the tempo. The champions combined Kofi and Creed’s teamwork with Strickland’s strength as Prince Nana watched from ringside.

The Rascalz responded with their familiar speed and creative double-team offence. They sent Strickland to the floor and placed the champions under sustained pressure, but Kofi and Creed created some breathing room by launching themselves onto their opponents at ringside.

Following the commercial break, Creed delivered a Liger Bomb to Zachary Wentz, while Kofi connected with a diving lariat. Kofi later delivered the Boom Drop as Creed made a blind tag, allowing the champions to remain one step ahead.

The Rascalz came close to capturing the titles on several occasions. Xavier also stopped Kofi on the top rope as momentum continued to move between both teams.

Strickland eventually landed the House Call before Kofi caught Xavier with a folding press to secure the victory. The result meant Kofi, Creed and Strickland retained the AEW World Trios Championship and continued their first reign together.

Their celebration was quickly interrupted by Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. The Young Bucks appeared on the stage and exchanged a tense stare with the champions, teasing a possible first-time meeting between two highly decorated tag teams.

Kofi and Creed had made their AEW debut only days earlier at All In London 2026. Revealed as Strickland’s mystery partners, they captured the Trios Championship on their first night with the company.

Their successful Dynamite debut has now strengthened The New Level’s position in AEW, but the arrival of The Young Bucks suggests their next major challenge may already be waiting.
