EC3 has revealed that he is currently in hospital after suffering an infection in his leg.

The former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion shared the news with fans on social media on Sunday, explaining that the problem developed after he recently attended a gathering in the woods.

According to EC3, he initially attempted to get the issue treated last week but was not admitted to hospital. Five days later, with the problem still causing concern, he returned and was admitted for treatment.

Despite the situation, EC3 reassured supporters that he is doing fine. However, there is currently no timetable for when he will be able to return to action.

EC3 wrote:

“Went to a Gathering.
The woods gave me a souvenir.

Leg got infected. Hospital acquired.
Well, I tried to acquire it last week and they said no and I said you sure? Then they said yes and 5 days later I said still sure and they said naaa.

I’m fine.

While EC3 appears to be keeping his spirits high and maintaining his sense of humour, his comments confirm that his immediate wrestling future remains uncertain while he recovers.
