Myles Borne’s night went from bad to worse at WWE NXT Heatwave, with the former double champion taking out his frustration on his own tag team partner, Tavion Heights.

Borne entered the 2026 Heatwave Premium Live Event holding both the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Heights and the NXT North American Championship. By the end of the show, however, both titles were gone.

The first setback came when Borne and Heights defended the NXT Tag Team Championship against Vanity Project’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes. Vanity Project secured the victory to bring Borne and Heights’ championship reign to an end.

Borne later attempted to hold onto his NXT North American Championship when he faced Jackson Drake.

Once again, Vanity Project played a major part in Borne’s downfall, helping Drake defeat him and capture the championship.

After the match, Heights entered the ring and attempted to support his disappointed partner. Rather than accepting the gesture, Borne suddenly attacked Heights.

Borne dropped his tag team partner with the Borne Again finisher before leaving the ring, bringing their partnership into serious question.

After beginning Heatwave with two championships, Borne ended the event without either title and seemingly without his tag team partner.

The shocking attack could now signal a new direction for both Borne and Heights as NXT moves forward following Heatwave.
