ZARIA Makes History With Championship Unification At WWE NXT Heatwave

ZARIA has made history at WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 after walking away with two championships unified into one.

The opening match of the Premium Live Event featured a major title unification Triple Threat, with NXT Women’s North American Champion ZARIA facing WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair and Kali Armstrong.

There was plenty at stake, with the winner set to leave Heatwave as the unified champion.

It was ZARIA who ultimately came out on top, securing the victory and adding the WWE Women’s Speed Championship lineage to her reign as NXT Women’s North American Champion.

ZARIA entered the match having held the NXT Women’s North American Championship since June, but her victory at Heatwave has now added another major achievement to her growing WWE career.

The result means the two women’s championships have officially been unified, with ZARIA making history as the woman to bring them together.

The WWE Men’s Speed Championship remains a separate title and is currently held by Lexis King.
