Will Ospreay has reached the top of AEW after defeating Kenny Omega to become the new AEW Men’s World Champion in a dramatic main event at All In at Wembley Stadium.

Ospreay captured the biggest championship of his AEW career after an exhausting battle with Omega that saw both men survive some of the biggest moves in their respective arsenals.

The match began at a fast pace, with Ospreay taking the fight to the champion and eventually sending Omega outside before diving onto him. Omega soon gained control, targeting Ospreay’s neck and using the exposed steel in the corner to increase the punishment.

Momentum continued to swing between the pair as Ospreay connected with a springboard lariat, Stundog Millionaire, Cheeky Nando’s and a springboard sunset flip powerbomb.

The action became even more brutal outside the ring.

After Ospreay shoved referee Paul Turner during a heated moment, Omega struck his challenger with a monitor from the announce desk. Members of UNITED EMPIRE and The Elite then became involved in a ringside confrontation, forcing officials to separate the two sides.

Omega followed with one of the most devastating moments of the match, powerbombing a bloodied Ospreay from the announce desk through the timekeeper’s table.

Ospreay somehow managed to beat the referee’s count, but Omega was waiting with a V-Trigger.

The champion continued targeting Ospreay with a Dragon suplex on the apron, an avalanche Croyt’s Wrath and repeated V-Triggers, but the British star refused to stay down.

Ospreay eventually found an opening and connected with the Hidden Blade before landing further heavy offence, including a penalty kick, rolling elbow and Death Blow.

Omega responded with a Tiger Driver ’91 and appeared to have finally ended Ospreay’s challenge when he hit the One-Winged Angel.

Wembley erupted when Ospreay kicked out.

The closing minutes then produced another remarkable sequence as Ospreay hit Omega with a Tiger Driver ’91 before eventually delivering his own One-Winged Angel.

Omega kicked out at one.

Ospreay immediately followed with the Hidden Blade and then Storm Breaker, but Omega again shocked the crowd by kicking out at one.

With blood covering his face and Wembley firmly behind him, Ospreay removed his elbow pad and prepared for one final attack.

Another Hidden Blade connected and this time there was no escape.

Ospreay covered Omega for the three-count to become the new AEW Men’s World Champion, bringing All In to a memorable conclusion at Wembley Stadium.

Result: Will Ospreay defeated Kenny Omega by pinfall following the Hidden Blade to win the AEW Men’s World Championship.

Ospreay celebrated with the championship as Omega remained on the canvas following their gruelling encounter.

The result gives Ospreay one of the biggest victories of his career and, fittingly, it came on home soil in the United Kingdom in front of the Wembley crowd.
