WWE Superstar Piper Niven has shared an encouraging update on her recovery from the neck injury that has kept her out of action for more than a year.
The 35-year-old has not competed since August 2025 after being sidelined with a serious neck issue. Niven eventually underwent surgery earlier this year and has now reached another important stage in her recovery.
Taking to social media, Niven revealed that she recently received the results of her 12-week scans, with doctors giving her some very welcome news.
“Howdy cowpokes, got my 12 week scans and everything is ‘healing beautifully.’ I logged into a tonne of messages of love and concern and I wanted to say thank you so much. I am probably not gonna get back to anyone before I Irish goodbye back out of social media please don’t hate me but thank you all for giving a hoot.”
Alongside the positive update, Niven shared several images from her scans, giving fans a glimpse at how her recovery is progressing.
While the update will naturally raise hopes of eventually seeing Niven back inside a WWE ring, she did not provide a timetable for an in-ring return. For now, the most important news is that her recovery appears to be moving in the right direction.
Niven also explained that she plans to step away from social media again and enjoy some time away from the online world.
“Imma go back to living my geriatric Florida bam life. Maybe be back on in a bit or maybe disappear off the face of the earth who knows. I heard no one even does posts anymore so maybe no one will see this? Who am I even talking to? Ok love you bye,” she finished.
After such a lengthy spell on the sidelines, it is certainly an encouraging update for Niven and her supporters. Fans will now be hoping the positive progress continues as she works towards the next stage of her recovery.
