Bayley’s WWE future remains a talking point as the former Women’s Champion continues her absence from television.

Bayley has not appeared on WWE programming since suffering a defeat to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, despite Bayley being away from the screen, WWE has continued to keep her name involved in current storylines.

Valkyria has mentioned Bayley several times on RAW, particularly during her recent interactions involving Sol Ruca and IYO SKY. Those references have ensured Bayley remains connected to what is happening within the women’s division, even while she is not physically appearing on television.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE continuing to reference Bayley could be an encouraging sign regarding her future with the company.

Meltzer reports that the continued mentions suggest WWE officials believe Bayley is likely to sign a new contract.

Importantly, there is currently no confirmation that Bayley has actually signed a new WWE deal. The report only indicates that those within the company appear confident she will ultimately remain with WWE.

Bayley herself has yet to publicly announce whether she has agreed to a new contract or whether she could be considering the next chapter of her career elsewhere.

For now, WWE appears determined to keep Bayley’s name fresh in the minds of fans, potentially setting the stage for her eventual return.
