Natalya has revealed that Jacob Fatu has been helping train Tatanka’s sons at The Dungeon, with the WWE star taking an active role in their development over the past six months.
Speaking to TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Natalya discussed the work ethic expected from wrestlers who train at the Hart family facility and singled out Fatu for his willingness to help others improve.
According to Natalya, Joseph Chavis and Jeremiah Chavis, the sons of WWE legend Tatanka, have been training at The Dungeon for around six months, with Fatu now helping coach the pair.
“You never stop working and learning and fighting through stuff. And when Jacob Fatu comes to the dungeon, he’s not just coming there for himself. What I love about Jacob is that he’s actually coaching others,” Natalya said.
“Jacob has been coaching Tatanka’s sons. And so Tatanka’s two boys have been coming and training with us for like the last six months.”
Natalya explained that Fatu’s experience and confidence inside the ring have allowed him to work with the brothers on several aspects of professional wrestling, including their promo skills.
“And now Jacob because of his level of comfort in the ring, you’ll watch him working with them on promos and you’ll watch them watch Jacob working with them in the ring. And like that’s what I love is that every single person in this industry should be focusing on not just how to get themselves over, which is great, but also paying it forward.”
Natalya has previously praised Fatu for his dedication to improving his own wrestling skills at The Dungeon. However, her latest comments show that Fatu is not only using the facility to sharpen his own abilities, but is also passing his knowledge on to the next generation.
With Tatanka’s sons now six months into their training, it remains to be seen whether Joseph and Jeremiah Chavis will eventually follow their father into professional wrestling.
