Blake Monroe’s first official WWE main roster match could finally be on the horizon.
According to False Finish, WWE has discussed Monroe facing Giulia at Saturday Night’s Main Event on September 6. While the match has yet to be confirmed, it would mark Monroe’s official main roster in-ring debut if it goes ahead.
Monroe was originally set to face Giulia on the August 21 episode of SmackDown, but the match never started.
Instead, Monroe attacked Giulia during her entrance, sent her crashing into the steel steps and hit The Neutralizer before the opening bell.
Despite the physical confrontation, Monroe technically never competed in a main roster match, something she was quick to make clear afterwards.
“That’s not my debut. I didn’t wait four months getting caught up to SmackDown, and I didn’t wait nine years to make it to the WWE to have my debut like that.”
Monroe also made it clear she had bigger ambitions, declaring herself “World Championship material” and calling out Chelsea Green.
“I’m World Championship material. So you find Chelsea Green, you bring her to me, and then you get the glamour. Until then, get out my face.”
However, WWE reportedly still has Giulia in its plans for Monroe.
Saturday Night’s Main Event takes place September 6 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. If the match is confirmed, Monroe could finally get the main roster debut she insists fans have yet to see.
