DAZN has acquired EverPass Media in a deal that will see TKO Group Holdings become a minority stakeholder in the sports streaming platform.
EverPass Media was originally founded by the NFL’s 32 Equity and RedBird Capital Partners, with TKO among the companies that previously invested in the business. TKO first invested in EverPass in 2024 as the platform expanded its distribution of live sports to commercial venues.
Following DAZN’s acquisition, RedBird Capital Partners, the NFL and TKO will all hold minority stakes in the combined DAZN and EverPass business.
The deal further strengthens DAZN’s position in the United States, particularly when it comes to distributing live sporting events to bars, restaurants and other commercial venues.
DAZN CEO Shay Segev explained what EverPass brings to the company:
“EverPass Media gives us a proven commercial distribution platform, deep relationships across U.S. venues, and an attractive portfolio of premium rights that perfectly complements our growing U.S. business. DAZN can now serve every type of customer in the U.S. – from individual sports fans using the DAZN app to commercial venues looking to provide the best possible viewing experience for their customers.”
NFL executive vice president of media distribution Hans Schroeder also welcomed the acquisition and DAZN’s expanded relationship with the league:
“We are excited to expand our partnership with DAZN through this acquisition and continue to work with EverPass and DAZN to deliver the best NFLST experience to the commercial marketplace. Together, we will continue to expand reach for commercial NFL Sunday Ticket and deepen engagement in a key segment where fans gather for NFL football.”
For TKO, the deal means the WWE and UFC parent company now has a financial interest in one of the biggest sports streaming platforms in the world through its minority position in DAZN.
