JoJo Offerman Shares Emotional Bray Wyatt Tribute Three Years After His Passing

Three years have passed since the wrestling world was rocked by the death of Bray Wyatt, but the former WWE Champion continues to be remembered by those closest to him.

Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Lawrence Rotunda, passed away on August 24, 2023, at just 36 years old. His sudden death following a heart attack sent shockwaves throughout professional wrestling, with tributes pouring in from fans, friends and fellow performers around the world.

During his WWE career, Wyatt became one of the company's most distinctive and creative personalities. From leading The Wyatt Family to reinventing himself as "The Fiend," his characters and storytelling left a lasting mark on WWE and its audience.

On the third anniversary of his passing, Wyatt's former wife Joseann "JoJo" Offerman shared a deeply personal tribute on social media, reflecting on the memories they created together and how much he continues to be missed by their family.

“Never would I have imagined during any of these moments that one day you wouldn’t be here anymore. It’s been 3 years without you Windham. 3 years since I last hugged you, or kissed your lips. 3 years since I last heard your laugh or you telling me that you love me. The pain remains the same, even if the days are a bit easier to handle.

“But nothing’s ever easy, it’s so hard without you. The kids and I miss you so much, and they never stop talking about their daddy! I just know you’re proud but there are so many moments I wish you were still here for. I hope you feel how celebrated and loved you are each day. Thank you for giving us a love we will always carry with us. We love you more than anything and I’ll always be grateful for you, my forever love. Don’t forget to visit me in my dreams,” Offerman wrote.

Offerman will also be familiar to wrestling fans from her own time in the industry. She joined WWE in 2013 and remained with the company until 2021 before later becoming part of AEW in 2025.

Three years on, Wyatt's influence remains visible across professional wrestling, while the continued tributes from his family, friends, colleagues and fans demonstrate just how much Windham Rotunda meant to those who knew and followed him.
