WWE Raw will feature a major family showdown next week, with Penta and Rey Fenix set to collide for a future World Heavyweight Championship opportunity.
WWE confirmed during Monday night's Raw that the brothers will go one-on-one on the August 31 episode from Cleveland, Ohio. There will be plenty at stake, as the winner earns a World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns on September 14 when Raw heads to Mexico City.
Penta secured his place in the tournament final by defeating La Parka, while Fenix advanced after picking up a victory over Dragon Lee. Their respective wins now put the brothers on a collision course, with only one able to move forward to challenge Reigns.
The Women's Intercontinental Championship will also be defended in Cleveland. Newly crowned champion Raquel Rodriguez will put the gold on the line against former champion Sol Ruca in a rematch.
After Ruca announced she would be exercising her rematch, Lyra Valkyria approached with an unusual proposal. Valkyria suggested Ruca allow her to challenge Rodriguez first, with the idea that she could capture the championship and then defend it against Ruca. Ruca quickly rejected the suggestion, leaving Valkyria visibly frustrated.
Roman Reigns is also scheduled to return to Raw following a chaotic few weeks surrounding the Bloodline.
Solo Sikoa recently rejected the opportunity to reunite with the group and instead dropped Reigns with a Samoan Spike. Matters became even more complicated on Monday when the returning Royce Keys arrived alongside OTM's Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, attacking those involved in the ongoing conflict between the Bloodline, Sikoa and LA Knight.
Next week's Raw will be taped on Friday ahead of its August 31 broadcast. WWE will also tape the September 4 edition of SmackDown that same night.
