WWE appears to have officially started the countdown to Lola Vice’s arrival on the main roster following a major tease during Monday night’s episode of RAW.
A new vignette featuring the former NXT Women’s Champion aired during the August 24 broadcast, with September 14 revealed at the end of the video. That date will see WWE RAW emanate from Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, strongly indicating Vice could make her main roster debut during the show.
The September 14 edition of RAW is already shaping up to be an important night. Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against the eventual winner of WWE’s ongoing No. 1 Contender’s Tournament.
The latest tease comes after it was reported on Sunday that WWE had already filmed promotional vignettes for Vice ahead of her expected move away from NXT.
Vice has not competed since the August 4 episode of WWE NXT, where she faced NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey in an NXT Underground match and came up short.
Her most recent run has also included appearances in AAA. Vice teamed with Mr. Iguana as AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions before the pair lost the titles to La Hiedra and Laredo Kid at Verano de Escándalo on July 25.
Vice previously reached the top of NXT’s women’s division when she captured the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver in April. Her reign came to an end at Great American Bash in June, where Grey walked away with the championship.
With WWE now putting a specific date behind Vice’s latest vignette, all eyes will be on Mexico City to see exactly what the company has planned for her next chapter.
