WWE star Angel Garza has hit back at wrestling fans who criticised the storytelling surrounding Penta’s latest appearance in AAA.
Penta defeated Bronco Nima on the August 22 episode of AAA’s weekly television show, but some viewers took to social media afterwards to question elements of the ongoing storyline involving Los Perros del Mal.
Garza clearly wasn’t impressed with the criticism and fired back at those wanting the angle to move faster.
“You all would SUCK as writers (laughter emojis) Wanting everything in one show, no story, just going straight to the climax and finishing it
That’s why you don’t work on this. Keep your a** at home and stay tuned,” Garza posted.
The match carried major consequences for Penta, who would have been forced to join Los Perros del Mal had he been defeated by Nima.
Despite Penta picking up the victory, the faction wasn’t finished with him. Daga presented the WWE Raw star with a Los Perros del Mal shirt and attempted to convince him to become part of the group, playing off their previous history.
Penta rejected the offer, sparking a chaotic confrontation that eventually brought Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee into the situation.
There was another significant development later in the show when Los Perros del Mal turned against Nima and removed him from the faction, suggesting the story involving Penta and the group is far from finished.
Garza’s message appears to be that fans questioning the direction of the angle may simply need to give the storyline more time to unfold.
You all would SUCK as writers 🤣🤣🤣 Wanting everything in one show, no story, just going straight to the climax and finishing it 🤣🤣
